What's a quality, slighty overkill QB setup in a 2x2.5 gorilla tent?

I would like to build it myself from scratch. I just need to get a list of top quality parts. This thread has way too many pages. It's hard to find the info you need here without asking for it. But if I can get a high quality kit then I'm all for that as well.250 watt QB kit!

Wait a minute. Isn't that pair on the right wired backwards?
Interesting this is what Stephan told me he's with the hlg isn't he?No, that is 2, series strings, in parallel making each string about 220V and 2100ma. I believe you could wire 2 Parallel circuits in series.
Hlgs response was yes , and that each board would be running at 1050 ma if I follow that setup .. sucks getting a bunch of different answers lol help boysNo, that is 2, series strings, in parallel making each string about 220V and 2100ma. I believe you could wire 2 Parallel circuits in series.
What I told you is correct. Split the DC output with a 3 way wago or the like. Put 2 304 in series first board gets + from driver. Connect first board - to second board +. Second board - returns to driver -. Do this for other 2 boards and your will have 1050 at each board.Interesting this is what Stephan told me he's with the hlg isn't he?

I agree most are running overkill...180 watts max in my 3x3, dense, fragrant buds at 20 inches below the panels.If they have to be that high up then maybe you're just using way too much current...So point being, apparently all you need when the LED is up close is about 5w/sq ft. Sea of Green with small clones, maybe 50-60w/ sq m. 100w would be pushing it but might be okay. That's the beauty of these boards, you can put them up close, unlike COBs. How much canopy can LEDs penetrate anyway? Maybe a foot. I call this "microcurrent growing".
word, thank you. I think I read on another thread somewhere that adjusting the voltage down to 53.5 or 53 V instead of 54 helps prevent thermal runaway with quantum boards wired in parallel... is this true? sorry, still learning all this stuff..
@robincnn @Stephenj37826
Holy crap. That was super cool, SO even came in asking why I have such a big smile on my face
That is why I built my own frame and spread it out.@Stephenj37826 @robincnn with my 4x4 tent would it be better to use two slate 3's with 2 boards each?
Or use two slate 2's with 2 boards each?
I thought the 3' sinks would allow me to get the boards closer to the walls and more even coverage.
Am I right or does it not really matter all that much?
