First Grow, Need Some Help.

Hi all! I've been lurking this site for most of my grow and it's been helping me a lot with the grow! I've decided to join this wonderful community of growers... I've just started my grow a while ago and I've run into some problems that someone here could hopefully help me correct.
Some information about the grow...

My plant is 46 days into flower (I'm counting from the day I switched to 12/12)
I do not know the strain as it is bag seed.
Plants started under two 300 watt LED lights then I moved them under my 1000 watt MH grow light.
Veg for a month and a half and trimmed the lower leaves (lollipopping)
I started with 3 plants but two ended up turning out to be males so I cut them.
My setup....

1. Grow Light: 1000 watt Phillips HPS, in an air cooled hood.
2. Light is 12" - 16" away from the top cola.
3. Heat/Temp: 76° - 84°F (Mostly a solid 80°F)
4. Humidity: 50% lights on (60-70% after feeding) as high as 90% lights off (I know...)
5. Soil: Fox Farms Ocean Soil Mix (Just that, nothing mixed with it.)
6. 5 gal fabric smart pot.
7. Nutrient: GH FloraNova Bloom 4-8-7, adding 2 Tsp /gal like the bottle says during later growth.
8. Water filtered from the store. Primo brand.
9. PH: I don't know, I don't have a test kit. (getting one soon)
10. I'm growing in an Apollo Horticulture 48"x48"x80" grow tent.
11. 15 Pint Dehumidifier running lights off along side the extractor fan.
12. One tower fan and a small 4" fan blowing on the main cola of the plant.
13. I'm using a cheap timer from Walmart to control the lights on/off.
14. Running my window A/C when lights on to keep temps in range.
15. Also running lights during the night period for cooler temps.

Okay, so I'm having problems with controlling the humidity and the leaves are yellowing / dying fast around the bottom / top cola. I didn't change anything I've been following the guild on the back of the nutrient bottle and this just happened over night, I know leaves start to die off during late flower, but this looks like something else to me I 'll provide some photos below.
I took these last night just as/before the light turned on.
What do you think is wrong? I appreciate all feedback
P.S Yes that is a tomato plant growing along side my plant
Also, I just started running my extractor fan 24/7 to help battle the humidity and watering outside of the tent.

your light is too close and your over fertilizing and possibly over watering

you've got a good brand of fertilizer and a good brand of soil

next grow

start in red solo cup half full with a seed starting mix zero fertilizer water only

then pot up to a 6" pot of ffof when the root ball is formed ..fertilize 1x 4mls per gallon and not again..water only

then repeat into a 5 gallon pot...fertilize 1x 6mls per gallon and not again

flip to 12/12 start feeding 8mls max per gallon every other watering (possibly as little as 6mls)

don't over water and raise your light 24 to 30" above canopy

I wouldn't bother checking the ph..the ffof soil starts at a good ph and theres no reason it wouldn't be in range

for that plant..water only until its done

Thanks for the info dude! My soils seems to dry out pretty quickly now (2 - 3 days) and I'm watering when the pot feels light. I'll be sure to raise the light!

Do you have a cheap moisture probe?

No, but next time I go to the hydro shop / Walmart I could pick one up.

They are cheap and handy. I feel as those above by looking at the plant and reading what you said that you are probably over watering and with the probe we can learn a lot more about your soil.
The reading I would like is on the day you plan to water again. On that day I would like you to insert it all the way into the soil and read as far down as you can. Stay away from the trunk area. 2 or 3" from the rim of the pot should be fine. (it won't hurt the plant). The needle will spike. Get that reading. Then let it sit for 2 minutes and take another reading. Do that in a few places the day you plan to water and then get back to us with the results, hold off watering for 24 hours after the results so we can talk 1st. (again, waiting 24hrs will not hurt the plant.
Simple way to tell if you are in need of water yet.

It could also be from too much air blowing directly on it. When this happens it just rips the moisture from the leaves and dries them crispy. Also the light height as mentioned...

But being that it's mainly in the middle of the plant - in front of the fan - that's my guess.

50% humidity isnt bad at all. Not wind burn either lol. Seen comericle grows whare giant windking wall fans are inches from some colas. See how dark green and shiny some of the leaves are kind of curled. You gave been over feeding thats nitrogen tox

Hmm, I could lower the fan speed, tho I've gone thru the entire grow with it on the same speed and nothing like this has happened. I've had the fans cranked up because of the humidity and I was worried about mold, and I raised my light last night to 26" above canopy.

I've had exactly this happen if the fan isn't oscillating. It's a simple thing to rule out - just point it so that it's not constantly blowing directly on it. I've seen it happen to other people too.

I have big oscillating wall mounted fans (4 of them) in a 10 x 11 room - as well as a floor fan to move air down low. The floor fan was blowing onto the lower part of the plant and caused exactly this. The big oscillating fans did not. I moved the floor fan a few feet, clipped the dried out leaves and no more problem.

Thanks Yeah my humidity is better now since I've been running my extractor fan 24/7, the highest my humidity has gotten so far lights off is around 70% (the day I didn't run my dehumidifier) I also put one of those DampRid hanger bags in the tent but it doesn't seem to really do anything lol.

I just took some more pictures this morning right after the light went off, it looks like some more leaves are affected including the sugar leaves... Also, it looks as if small green bananas are growing on the main cola pretty sure that means it's a hermie right? I wouldn't be surprised if it did, because of all the stress.

Anyway, I ended up getting a Vigoro Moisture, Light and pH Meter for the soil as recommended. Next time I get ready to water like normal I'll be sure to post the results here for everyone before hand!

Okay, so last night (when I normally would water) I put the probe into the soil and got these readings,
Like I said before I always watered when the pot felt light / when the top inch or two felt dry.
and I know this isn't the dankest grow, but I didn't expect to get the best on my first try
The 2nd reading I let sit for a few minutes before I took the picture.
It's also been four days since I've last fed.

sounds like its time to water

I have a probe..different brand..so your might be better
I cant rely on mine, if I waited until it read "dry" my plants would die lol

but it helps give me a gauge to the moisture deep in the pot, I know when its 3/4 to dry its time for me to water
