But this misses my main point. Thought guide guy took you guys to a sinister contorted and unlikely reason among many simpler possibilities. Jon Stewart had nothing to do with that. He was the flasher on the line and when you took it, he reeled you in. It was a prime example of propaganda. He's manipulating you Sandernistas. Why and who pays him I don't know. But that was a professional con job.

She gets chopped to pieces for 30 years then accused of being too measured and guarded. Damned either way. I'm on record as stating that I didn't think she was a good candidate, but I wonder how much of that is the defensiveness she must feel 24/7. She's a smart and strong woman without question. I like her quite a bit, actually.

30 years of right wing attacks, smears and let's just say it, misogyny against a smart woman who said she wouldn't play the role and stay home to bake cookies has brought us to this Clinton isn't even running but we can't talk about the path forward without being dragged back to the 2016 election because of butt hurt over Clinton pasting Sanders in the primary. And their reasons? The stuff churned out by the right wing after 30 years of right wing attacks.

You are right, of course. She was misogyny's whipping post. "Hillary" became the dog whistle for "shrill, feminist woman". I made it a point to always refer to her as Clinton or Hillary Clinton and never just "Hillary".

Agreed. I was uncomfortable with the apparent double standard too. It's been Bush, Trump, Clinton (as in Bill), Gore, Kerry then people called her Hillary.

Still, I think "Stronger Together" was an awful campaign slogan.
