killed my seedling with fan? please help

hello i had seedling sprout up, and its stem was sticking up with the seed shell still covering it, but now i checked it and the stem is bent and brown hard to the touch at one spot and isnt sticking up anymore the seed covering the top was elevated in the air and now its resting on the soil. could this have been dried out by the fan i had on it? ihad a fan 5-6" inches away?

can the seedling recover?

its dead sounds more like stem rot from overwatering

I made the mistake of having a fan blowing on my seedlings before they had decent roots.

I ended up throwing them all away. This time around I waited 1-1/2 weeks after they sprouted and put a fan. They are holding up much better this time around

i never watered them, im using a seed starter float and grow.

should i take out that one seedling starter cube? will it affect my other seedlings next to it?

I dont know what that system your using is...can you post a picture? or a link to a site with a picture?
