Help This Lil Lady...

Anybody have any idea what caused this? She was beautiful a week ago. shes just about 5 weeks in flwr and the leaves are all the sudden looking crappy fast. Good drainage is not the problem. Im guessing its either heat stress or nute burn but im quite new so not sure which one... any Input would be much appreciated

it's not nute burn, that would start at the edges, it looks like a possible nutrient lockout. Gonna need all your info,
lights, nutrients, temps, humidity, source of water, ph,ppms

Lights are cfl. 15 of them. the humidity is approx 40%. water is from the tap. temps get up to 100 where the top colas are.I have a fan blowing to try and cool down but its just moving warm air around. I dont have a ph meter or anything like that.
 
Looks like calcium deficiency to me. Never had it though. Pics below are calcium deficiency. What kind of water are you using?


Nutrient lockout would be caused by a buildup of Fertilizer salts in your soil, or a ph problem with your medium. If its salt buildup it would be fixed by runing a bunch of pure phd water through your soil, enough that you get plenty of run off, next time it dries out,(dont water early over this, adding overwatering wont help) then let it sit for a few minutes so the salts absorb into the water and then run more water through to wash it out. If its ph issues you have to adjust either the ph of your soil or your water if your working in some type of soilless or hydro. Waters good to adjust either way of course but in soil the ph of the soil itself is more important.

A ph meter a very important tool in any growroom. There are specific ones for soil instead of liquids

Ill invest in a ph meter. never had one because i dont know how to adjust levels anyways. maybe i can read up on it and learn. im sure it will only benefit me in the long run. My medium is soil. I flushed it really good today... Hopefully this will help and i can let her rejuvenate.

Those pics are exactly what i have going on. I think Ive heard of something called Cal/Mag... maybe that will help??

Cal mag will do the trick. Be careful not to apply too often. Too much ca causes lockout of a few other nutrients.

I use general hydroponics ph up and down. Its best to buy a product made for the purpose although ive heard sulfuric/battery acid is very cheap and when diluted properly with water can be used as ph down and a little bottle will last you years. Dangerous stuff though, youd wanna research how much sulfuric per gallon and how to do it safely. Never done it before but plan to

thx man. thats good to know. I dont think this one is mites because i have 4 girls in the room and the other 3 are absolutely fine. the other 3 are indica and the one with the issue is a tall sativa

I think there would be other signs as well if it was ph issues. Im not seeing any other deficiencies except maybe a little phosphorous but almost everyone has those purple stems half the time. Not that i dont think he should check the ph but what makes you think its lockout?

Also senior, what kinda water? Well, ro, tap, distilled, softened??

And what kind of soil?

The water is strait out of the tap city water. No water softener. soil is miracle grow better bloom mix

Cant find any info on that soil. Miracle grow can work fine as long as it doesnt have those slow release nutrients, doesnt nutrient burn your plant, and is the right ph. Tap water usually has enough ca, but i suppose its possible yours doesnt. Definitely check your ph and it never hurts to keep cal mag around.

And remember if treating a magnesium deficiency use epsom salt. Although i dont see any on your plant. That would be yellowing between veins while veins stay green.

They call it cal mag but it really doesnt have much magnesium. Will probably cause lockout from too much ca before your plant has enough mg
 
You drew me in, but you are not a lady, sneaky sneaky. Anyway I will help. I assume you are using good lights and are using good nutes, so what you have here is a calcium lock out. You can tell that it is a non transportable element by where it shows up in the plant. I assume you are using good nutes so this isn't a lack of cal issue , everyone puts calcium in their stuff. So your lock out is for another reason. I will first say that you are probably growing in dirt and your ph is too low. What is your watering ph and what is the run off?

I dont have a meter to check it right now. Another member suggested that i get one so i'm going to order one this weekend

I flushed her real good today... should that help or will it probably make it worse?
