Glad to see she's still going :) I've had early and late one's for showing sex, doesn't seem to be any pattern. Worst I've had recently were the AK and Columbian Gold for showing sex. I ended up flipping them based on males that had shown earlier so figured the one's I had left were fems, worked out but was a little nervous, they were huge and in 5gal pots and still not clearly showing sex!

I got a very early and very unique version of quantum boards, so for both reasons I'm not sure my experience is applicable.

For what it's worth, both lighting systems can grow great plants. The difference between the two is much smaller than the differences between growers using them.

Thank you sir I humbly take that compliment from you. I can't wait to see your next adventure. You got me to grow very once and I want to mess with it more down the line have some crazy ideas for the 5x9 tent.

At this point I would have to say that it would depend on the grow setup the individual asking was going to use. There are pluses and minuses to each light and a capable grower would do well with either. I have nothing bad to say about either setup.

Which seems to fit better in the 1:1 replacement of a 1000W HPS in your opinion?
 
The GG4 don't seem to mind the autocobs.Look nice.

Have you seen the Optic 1 from OpticLED evil?

Uses a cxb3590 in place of the clu48 1812.I'm assuming the same driver as it is at 54 watts.Price isn't quite the same.

I will reserve my opinion on this until later this year, I will be putting up the 600W and the 1000W HID soon as my 5x9 arrives and then have a couple of ideas for a comparison run with either cuts of the same strain or seeds of the same auto strain.

I just got my shipment of these:

This would give me a chance at a good look of the same strain under all the lights at once and I have enough seeds on hand to do it so.......

Each of the last three Mephisto plants I have grown under LED have surpassed what the breeder claims for yield and I am excited to see if I can repeat that with this strain, if so it would be a game changed for me because of the harvest more often vs photo's.

I have not seen this light. I have however grown with 3590's in the past, the 5K I had for veg I liked, but I would not trade my Citizen's for Cree's. The Cree's in 3K for flower I had were the LED's I have liked the least so far of what I have used.

Before anyone get's butt hurt, I am not saying you should get rid of your Cree's if you have them, just giving my opinion, for the difference in price especially if one was buying new today Cree's make no sense anymore. So many other good brands that are much less expensive.
