First grow..vipaspectra 450w led

Nice Ace, Just finished curing an ounce harvest from that vipar450 its super good and trichomy. I went for Amber for the couchlockness. It wasn't the best plant I grew under that light, I know it can pull much heavier yield than an ounce. Here's why: that ounce dried plant I harvested was problematic, it had root rot, ph imbalance, nutrient burn and a fan fell and broke a cola off, stressed and hermied. On top of that it was miracle gro soil..
So yeah that vipar 450 is a good light no doubt, If I had better conditions, I would have made more yield.

I chopped this black cream about 1 1/2 weeks early I think. She had just a few Amber trichs. But it is good smoke.

Being my first grow im happy with the vipar 450w...obviously the finished product will be the test...just to note iv just added (day 31 flower) 3x 30w 2700k cfl's around the sides just to light a few dark spots the vipar isnt getting..i know its a vipar LED grow but hey hoe...ill do whatever i think helps

yeah you're gonna have some dankness right there... And I thought my grow was looking good... I have 4 plants at 5 weeks as seen below...

It looks like you have more tops than me... with your ONE plant... Someone give this man some space and some COBS asap!!!
Would love to try some of your finished product. You're going to have some good smoke bro! Keep it up!

I'm continuing a second batch with this vipar 450w, it is going well so far. I added cfls supplements on the dark sides.
My grow this time consists of dwc plant and another 2 plants in soil. Currently moving into 3 weeks into flower, and I am seeing buds growing everyday. One of my plants already producing trichomes and making the grow tent smell whenever I open it.

I might be considering getting another one of these 450w ViparSpectra to add side by side inside my 2x4 or my other 3x3 grow tent.

My buddy has 8 gorilla glue plants under a 450 vipar telling me he's going to be alright during flower lol.

8 plants might be a bit much i think lol..iv got 1 plant under mine..3 cfls too..i think the biggest problem with the vipa is the footprint...its as big as the unit itself i think...i dont think much will happen if you are not right under the light...my first grow so dont know enough yet...

So a bit less than two ounces under the 600 for that one plant. That's good man, also further assures me that his 8 stretched out plants won't produce the 2 a plant. He has them in a 5 ft × 2.5 ft closet with the 450.

I think you would see a noticeable difference with a 2nd 450!

I harvested one of my plants under the Vipar 450(With cfl supplement on shaded area) and it yielded 79grams cured. It was a little above 3oz dried, but after curing idk why it lost, but overall I am happy with it. It was one of my first batch plants/first grow.
I am happy with this light, I want to continue some more and see how much I can max out with this light w/cfl supplements.

Will also be getting a watt meter to check how much power it truely is eating. Also will get a lumen par meter to see if I am getting some decent coverage and penetration.

450w(As it says on Amazon, but it only eats like 200ish watts)
I had a bunch more CFLs on the sides but I removed like 5 on each side, it had heat issue lol

Looks good man. I'm vegging with a 450w Viparspectra and I just bought a 2nd one to use for flowering.

I've got two vegging under a 450w Viparspectra and I just bought a 2nd one to flower with. Hey, when you were vegging that plant did you just have the Veg light on or both? Thanks
