im working on a rebuild i guess. i have a magnum 357 which is a monochromatic. most yield i ever saw off it was maybe 2oz.
found some LED strips on ebay that say :

so catch my math and check my work please ha. because i calculated 215lm/w or so from these strips.
i said 15W/72 leds = .208W per LED
so,
45LM/.208W = 216lm/w
and,
45LM*72 = 3240LM per strip
deal is, 10 strips for 12$, 32,400 LM from 150W total for the light over a 15cmX50cm footprint. I imagine itll need a fan.
wowsers..... I figure the newest LEDs are flooding the market already as jelly beans, so ill take the gamble, trust, and see what i get in the mail. I was satisfied with the LED strips i received from export-estonia in a previoius build last month i titled "boring ol 153lm/w" or whatever i wrote.
anyway, the plan is to disassemble the previous magnum panel from 2011 and fit these 216lm/w ebay strips on the heatsink slate with some room for reds and UVa. . hopefully
well.. went ahead and purchased these.
i picked a split spectrum, warm/neutral
