My new closet grow

Decided to ditch the closet for my spare room. The room is like 300sqft and reflectiveness is like 0% but easier for the screen and temps. I built an adjustable stand for the light. The batwing help with directional lighting.

Added ghetto screen. All plants but 1 have been topped. Still don't know the sex of the bag seeds though.

I'm flipping the lights in 2 weeks. Roughly 1 month of veg. I was thinking sooner but patience gives more yield lol. The original idea was 4 plants so maybe at least 2 are males so I can move them out for space.

1 month veg isnt bad. Ive been going about 42 days veg. plants are looking great chi town!

thanks, the topping didn't seem to slow them down at all. I think it actually did its job wonderfully. some of those other plants are touching the screen already and its only been some hours.

How it going? I thought took some of the smaller leaves off the bottom last night. All plants have been topped and new growth is coming in fast. But just wanted to show my progress. I think I’m going to give away the 4 cups.

The oldest plant is starting to show, if it’s a male, I totally mixed the seeds up lol cause the pots are labeled. I never grew a bushy male so we will see soon.

Training with the ghetto screen. Going to add more lines. I like being able to move the lines, it helps spread a lot better and faster. The female in the solo cup between the 4 pots will have over 10 tops. The sour og grows funny and I don’t like it.

Why have the screen in so early?? It's gonna make tending to the plants a pain... Also you seem past the stage to worry but.... It seems like you transplanted to a larger than optimal pot at first, which usually leads to over watering. The soil being wet for a week is not good as it locks out the oxygen the roots need which locks out nutrients as well. Adding mulch to the top layer only compounds the issue. You will get mold if your humidity goes unchecked. Your babies are looking good tho.

The screen is a bit too high and I haven’t transplanted anything yet, I just killed a male. The screen is mostly to level my canopy right now. I got a few stretchers and a couple shorties. I took most of the mulch out, it just looks like I have a lot in there, I have to water every 2 days now vs when I had the mulch on top. I’m thinking about just flipping 12/12 but I need to sex 4 more of the plants. I do plan on transplanting the females in the solo cups, I thought I was giving them away but I might just start 12/12 and put them in the ground outside

If your gonna use the scrog method it requires extra time in veg. And good call on tossing the mulch. You won't be able to sex until you flip to flower.. you can tell from preflower but I believe the plant needs to be in veg for 4-6 weeks for them to emerge. I'm running a scrog of a single plant Currently. The canopy is 3' 6" wide by 2' deep.

A few pics, my trellis was 6"x6" squares so if the stem couldn't reach I used the lst method and tied off to the trellis, it may be an alternative to adding more line to your current grid.

Been training them daily. Aug 23rd my screen goes on. I improved it a lot lol

Looking better everyday, constant training. The shitty mg organic ph is off and is terrible stuff. Manganese deficiency on 1 pot and 2 cups. My soil on the other hand is doing wonders for the rest of the plants. I was starting to think it was the bagseed strain, cause all those look iffy. I flushed all the plants cause I’m a lil heavy with the feet 24-8-16

down to 5 plants out of 8, no more solo cups left. added hps and screen. I hit the switch on my timer by mistake last night and it was 0 dark period. I also left the damn fan on them and got some windburn but they recovering fast. I plan to keep 18/6 with hps for a week or 2 before i go 12/12. Sour Og and Gorrilla glu and one of the badseed smelling dank already.
