Any cob growers experiencing wilt?
I have my cobs 30" above my month old plants. About 8 hours in to the 18 hour light cycle they begin to wilt. By the time the lights go off they look very sad.
I understand this is a defence mechanism. In harsh light conditions the stomata will close and the plant takes a break from transpiration / photosynthesis and the plant stops uptake. Which causes the wilt.
Anybody else experience this?
And... does a root zone (in promix) that is too warm cause wilting?
