I'd just install a dead-bolt lock on your closet door... get a carbon air scrubber, and vent through the ceiling. That would fix everything.

Who says you need clones? Couldn't you start from seed each time? I don't see why not. Just stagger them about 2 weeks apart, but it'll take a couple months, before your cycle starts up good. And don't get rude about it, I'm telling him advice that I think would work. and I don't see why that wouldn't work. Prove that advice wrong, and I'll apologize for bad information.

Your suggestion is not incorrect at all. But it does not matter if he goes with seeds or cuttings, he has to have 4-5 different cycles running at the same time to get a harvest every 2 weeks. This is very, very hard to do under peoples noses. As in CRAZY DIFFICULT. I hear the sirens running now.

If he can pull it off, then fantastic. But I would never give it a go.

Alright, I'm just wondering because in my head this works? If he had 2 cabs, that could fit like 3 or 4 plants each, then he could just place them together, in their respective cabs. Veg/Flower. So 2 week old veg's could still be in with seedlings because of the same light schedule. Do you kind of see what i'm saying?

Well I have my medical card, but I'd still rather keep it low key. I figure in my closet, mixed in with everything else in there and a good filter system, I would be good. I've never done this before so maybe I'm underestimating the smell. I have thought about hydro but think it would be more difficult/expensive. Am I wrong in this? I've seen some of these great stealth ideas, anyplalce I can find the general shopping list? I ordered some femnized white widow seeds. Renting this house, should get here before I move out, and not where I'm going to be growing

If anything you are OVERESTIMATING the smell. I had one plant in the spare room, fans on and door open during the day. You could smell it from the doorway, no further. Now harvest and drying are a different story. You could smell pot all over the house for a couple of days.

Most little single plants grows do not stink enough to stink up the house, at least first time grows. So do not worry about the stink, but keep the money read.

I would definitely check with your room mates.

If they say 'no' now, then its better than them finding a plant and saying 'no' then.

If they say 'yes' then be prepared to share.

People always forget about the cutting and drying process when they try to set up these stealth cabinets. The scent of fresh cut and drying weed is very strong and you will also need a few hours minimum of sitting in your room chopping these things down in privacy. Harvest time is very rarely a stealth activity; your house WILL smell.

That was the strongest smell I got through out the entire grow. I harvested and hung the buds in the spare room and I was done by 2;30, and at 6:00, my sister-in-law came over and told me she could smell it coming thru my garage!!!! Stayed that way for about a day. If the cops had come up then........................................

The drying process is probably the only thing I hadn't thought about. I guess I could always get a locker with a filter? lol, damn. Or something like this GROWFAQ ? I'm going to get a storage shed for my backyard, but I'd be worried about the neighbors. And part of the reason I'm going stealth, although nobody needs to be in my closet, if I have people over and in my bedroom and somebody walks into my closet, I'd rather it not be noticable. Everybody knows I smoke pot, yet I still try to keep that low key. I've actually had somebody tell me I was addicted to pot cause I like to smoke lol. I do 4-20 cylce typically, and sometimes even take more time off (20 days smoking, then 4 days wth none to reset tolerance. Works pretty good. If I get a migraine during the 4, I eat it, and it still does a pretty good job) I like to smoke when I have it and can afford it. Anyways I'm off topic. I had actually thought hanging it up in my bathroom with the door shut would be enough for the drying process. Oh, and one of the things I actually trully really need, is a bookcase. Right now I am uisng 2 dresser drawers, and a portion of my closet. (I don't know what it is, but I love reading when I'm stoned ) So this will fufill 2 missions. Anyone want to suggest some dimensions for the various grow cabinents for a typical grow? I'm thinking of maybe doing hydro as it actually seems failry cheap and easy to set up. Well think about it, drying it in your bathroom is like 10 times riskier then in your shed. Drying shouldn't be THAT bad of a smell to get out your shed and be extremely strong. If you have it in your bathroom, it will get through the house no problem, and the chances of someone going into your bathroom compared to your closet is higher.

After reading this GROWFAQ I might go soil instead of hydro for my first grow Spida, I wouldn't be worried about my shed smelling at all. I'd probably be smoking weed in there anyways if I was working in my yard. Like I said, My roomates know I smoke weed and have a medical card. I would be worried about the smell escaping and getting to the neighbors more. I guess I could always put a garden next to the shed, with a few flowers and stuff. The back yard does need landscaping.

Dude i would go hydro. I think its easier than dealing w/ the dirt etc.

I have a two cabinet set-up and it will be in my walk-in when i move in a month. I would use a carbon filter and exhaust the carbon filter to the attic if you are on the top floor.

All depends if your roommates are cool though. If you you have your card i would say just do it. If they don't like it they can move the **** out.

I would say if you try to hide it though....90% chance they find out.

If you could get electricity to your shed, even an extension cord, try that? Haha. And no I doubt they would find out for a few months, if at all. I understand the basics of how hydro works, but not completely. I wanted to try it though with just some regular plants. If anyone could give me a detailed break down of hydro, would you please PM me, I don't want to get off topic of his thread. Well, when yoou get your backyard landscaped send me some pics, and I'll send you some pics of what I've done to mine, by myself without landscaping companies. I'm quite proud. Many summers of work, and boy was it worth it.

a huge percentage of arrests are made because people talk. your roommates accidentally let it slip to one of their friends, and so on then you've already got 2,3,4,etc people that know you grow weed

you say you are a card holder so maybe you're less likely to get in trouble, however just a warning keep it private
