DWC Solar Storm 440 LED X 2 First grow(Comments Welcome)

Almost half way there already. And more there then I've processed yet. My guess is gonna be 18 total oz, you don't count the trimmings right?

Edit: I haven't bother weighing the trimmings

Yea I plan to press it with heat plates. I actually plan to completely switch over. Press buds and all.

Edit: just didn't want to be the only one not weighing it when giving weight totals.
 
Some people do, I don't see why. just mix it down with everclear and let evaporate or low heat with a boiler.

Pressing it does ok, drinking alcohol or ethanol does a lot better.

If you do press the bud, keep the plant material for edibles. Butter is super easy to make.
 
I've done a lot of research on rosin pressing and you won't be able to talk me out of it that easy hehe. I plan to make how to or at least progress threads on it. As I have shown LED is viable I know I can for sure show rosin pressing is also super viable. And yea I did plan on using pressed material to make edibles as I've heard you don't get it all. But I'll be using a 20 ton press with dual aluminum heating plates
 
Man my new setup I feel like is never gonna dry! Lol at this point prior it would be almost dry, and its still pretty wet.
 
I would press buds and extract trim. Then use the left over bud for edibles. It is just the nature of the different parts, the bud has a high density of trichs whereas the trim does not.

I'm not bashing pressing or you doing it, on the contrary, I encourage any practical use of every part of the plant.

For me it is medicine, therefor, I see it as life and just as necessary to survival as water.

Yea well I planned to press the trim into patties somewhat before heat pressing to make it more dense. Granted I won't get the same yields but I should be able to run large amounts at a time
 
It's just hangin... it's gonna be easier to tell what trim too, and I think will end up trimming less.

Can you include this process + pictures in the journal? I'm interested to see how this all works and comes out in the end.
 
I've switched one tent back to dwc today everything about this tent was planned around my homemade waterfarm & ive got a lot of time invested I've got to make this work short term I'm gonna use h202 long term I'm gonna pick up some pool-shock I think a lot of the bite is gone out of ol'man summer I'll leave the other tent in the coco but for this one I'm gonna take a chance what's next for you???IMG_2529.JPGIMG_2530.JPG
