I did a bit more reading and it seems as if attempting to cure while the bud is still too moist can achieve very different results. And I definetly am. So I'm going to one wait to trim, and two give it an extra day or two beyond when I thought it was dry. Because it results in me jarring and having to take out because it rehydrates so much
you'll get it figured out if you dry it out too fast it can get that hay smell & be harsh & if you leave it moist too long you can get that mouldy Mexican brick flavor that's why it's good to get it close & burp it until just right

Here's another thing light during the dry. The room is mainly dark but it's the laundry room so sometimes the shop lights get turned on. They always say dry in a dark place. How bad does some tube lighting periodically effect it during the dry?

I've had to hand them for up to two weeks before, that was from living in a humid climate running a dehumidifier.

That could be genetics or stress, I doubt you stressed them enough to mutate. Seeds are usually a good sign of stress.

Light is going to make any part of that plant that is alive try to grow, it will also damage trichs. I doubt a soft light will do much but I would do everything to keep them completely in the dark.

Well in retrospect I started cutting nutrient too early thinking I was done, I'm sure it hurt yield a bit. It was devouring leaves of P and K. But I'm pretty happy for first grow. And I'll have plenty to be much more patient for the next grow. I'll show some pics of it all cut down and update total
Weights. But I'd say it's a wrap for this one. Very excited for the next grow and will start a journal from the start.

Reason I say that is if I cut nutrient only as it was ripening I don't think it would of had such a strong need for nutrient.

Edit: and also everything that's been cut over the last three weeks would of had a higher total weight in sure.

It may have effected the yield, but that late in flower it would be minimal. Usually, an eight week flowering period will consist of two weeks adjusting to the new light cycle and stretching, about four weeks slightly stretching and flowering, then another two weeks ripening. At that point, flush and run one light cycle then twenty-four hours of darkness, chop and hang. About two weeks drying and two weeks curing, this allows THC-A to breakdown to THC. After this point more CBD will breakdown into CBN giving the bud more of a sleepy/narcotic effect.

Terpenes also have a role in the curing process I just don't remember the exacts right now.

Yea nothing ground breaking I'm sure, probably should of continued nutrient for another week. Obviously my results were nothing to shake a stick at, but there's no way I achieved maximum results my first go around.

The industry isn't what you think.

The people that own the companies don't give a shit about the people smoking.

The people working it get paid little and care a lot (from what I've seen).

Stay at home, do your thing, take care of your immediate community.

Alright so I've gotten 5.8 oz dry and jarred so far, and the pictures is what's drying, it's all cut down.

Edit: going to be really exciting to see total weight, I've kept numbers accounted for selerately so I'll know how much each one did, and they are hung in seperate spots
