Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur Problems...

I have never changed my nutes and this time I embarked on the Connoisseur line instead of the Sensi. I used half strength and my girls have never looked so awful. What an overpriced crappy product. Anyway, I am day 13 bloom, has anyone ever switched based nutes this far in. Or should I flush and then start...

take a picture of the labels showing the % amounts for each element for each bottle

then tell me how you mixing it as in mls per gallon

I appreciate your feedback but the percentage ratios of AN products are highly misleading. The fact is that when used in conjunction with all other additives you are actually looking at much higher ratio. As a longtime botanicare user three cycles back i switched to AN. I got two good rounds. The problem is the consistency of their product is lacking to say the least. Whereas one bottle used as directed may raise your ppm say 100ppms and the exact dose of another of the same line will raise it by 300ppm. I can honestly say that ANs marketing empire is predicated on the we will pay for it if its not 100 percent. But the fact is you will never get your money or time back. The company has yet to respond to any emails. Asking for guidence. Etc. I am switching back to botanicare. I have some other girls on elite which is a new line so far so good we will see

yes AN is a rip off but that doesn't mean the products cant get the job done proper

you can keep switching from brand to brand mixing each brand incorrectly and keep having mixed experiences based on how good or bad the brands mixing chart is

the bottom line is all the ferts are made from or derived from the same basic elements in different ratios

you just gotta know how to mix it to get a balanced ratio... no matter the brand

if you want to go buy something that's cut and dry get the GH floranova grow/bloom

its perfectly balanced and you don't need to do the guess work on how to mix all the different bottles

1 bottle for veg and 1 for bloom and the directions are good and its all you need

it even has kelp, aminos and filvic already in it... a true complete balanced 1 part nute

if you want to save your money ...give me the label % pics and I will tell you how to mix what you have so its balanced for you

Umm i was more just knocking connoisseur. The ratios on their bottles if followed would be the cure to kill the borg... In other words. I am simple gonna switch to sand and chicken poop. I hear the ratio of npk is better meaning im not agreeing with ya

you can keep switching from brand to brand mixing each brand incorrectly and keep having mixed experiences based on how good or bad the brands mixing chart is

the bottom line is all the ferts are made from or derived from the same basic elements in different ratios

you just gotta know how to mix it to get a balanced ratio... no matter the brand

if you want to go buy something that's cut and dry get the GH floranova grow/bloom

its perfectly balanced and you don't need to do the guess work on how to mix all the different bottles

bravo. 100% correct on every statement. cept floranova..... jk everyone has there favorite lol. they are all the same one base nute is the same as the next. the enhancers are a bit different though. they either work with high npk or hormonal triggers not usually both. example the fox farm enhancers (open sesame, beasty bloomz, cha ching) use high npk values to manipulate the flower growth. G-10 by humbolt is a 0,0,0.6 so is of little use as a fertilizer but is derived from kelp ( fastest growing plant on earth) and uses kelp hormones to increase flower size and density.

I don't subscribe to the idea of "bloom booster"
in some cases (years past) they've been shown to have plant growth regulators (pgr) that are known to be cancer causing and not approved in most cases for edibles... but they will make your blooms bigger lol

if theyre not full of pgr then theyre just basic P and K and nothing you cant get from mono potassium phosphate for pennies in comparison to what they charge for all that bloom booster hype

kelp, aminos, fulvic, silica, enzymes and BB/fungi are the only additives id subscribe to
