6foot tall indoor plants get no light on bottoms

I know this discussion is never ending some say lolly pop the bottoms some say leave it until you trim the top and then let the bottom fill out. I'm just curious tho regarding letting the bottoms fill out(which I'm doing) the tops of the plants are comming along near perfect but the bottom is, as I said receiving almost no light. To the point where there is some pretty hefty branch's growing out and up trying to reach light and the bud site on these branch's looks horrid. Like it would never be able to grow into a fat bud now. But I'm not sure can little buds grow messed up for 2 months then fatten up when Given all the light?

Those look about 2 weeks in. I would leaf strip everything except the tips of branches.

why grow six foot plants when your light is penetrating less than 2 feet? no matter how much you remove that light down their is subpar. I skirt the larf below my light penetration point, of course. saves on trimming popcorn buds nobody wants compared to colas.

I wouldn't strip them. If anything. Just add cfl or led bulbs around the bottom. Maybe some led strips or some type of tube lightning for the sides and bottoms.

Is this a serious post?
Absolutely

Forward to about 6 minutes in to see the process....
The guy in the video is one of the few people to win both indica and sativa classes at the same cup event.

Something else you can learn from him is how he makes lower colas catch up to higher ones.
Simply rip off the two large fan leaves at the tip you want to slow down while the others catch up.

So basically stun the tops so they stop growing.. But I don't want the bottoms to "catch up" I'm just curious if after another couple months of growing naturally. What will the bottom buds look like after receiving no light for there entire lives. Will they than catch up after the top of the plant is removed.

Thought about that but I'm really already squeezing every wat of available power. I'd need to add more timers. And even then may start tripping breakers. They grew unnaturally quick in like 2 weeks from seed. By the time I flipped the lights they were taking off and never stopped. Critical kush barneys farm

yeah, they will mature a little, I never saw the fuss worth the time though. "whoa, spots open in the flower room, cant wait to put some new genetics in "

I've cut in stages. It the tops and then leave the bottoms for a couple more weeks. They won't ever catch up.

It will be smaller buds. I don't cut mine. I use them for making canna butter, hash, and tinctures.

Do they at least become dense little nugs? Or do they not even mature into that

I wouldn't advise cutting them off right now. Grow them out and see what happens. Next run decide if you want to cut under growth out.
It's like 3 weeks in. Ya I'll just leave it forsure see how it plays out. Pretty sure it's.gonna take away from top growth but oh well

I trim all the side branches off that are getting no light by week 3 at the latestest. It's usually only 1 or 2 weaklings as I have gotten pretty good at stripping them I'm veg. Check out my Dosidos in week 2, long skinny legs with no leafs, concentration in colas

Ya I'll be doing that method next time. Keep them all natural for now see what happens than at least I'll know first hand.
