Just wondering how popular Rosin is and who makes it or uses it? I really like it and am enjoying it more and more. Still learning the best methods and techniques to squish it at.
Anyway was wondering if we have anyone else here who is interested in Rosin.
And lastly are you concerned about solvents in the extracts? So maybe you are after the solvent less or is that less concerning to you if it has been prepared properly such as vacuuming.
And don't forget, Please boycott all LP purchases. Promote free enterprise and not trudy's cannabis cartel of poison and lies to cover it all up.

I do not have the equipment to make it, I do however enjoy just how flavorful it is and am going to be getting what I need to make and use it (my atomizer is already on it's way here).

I am worried about solvents which is another reason Rosin appeals to me. I know that with a vac purging oven and shit you can purge all the solvents from your shatter but you are still working with volatile, explosive chemicals to run an extract and accidents can and do happen occasionally (even in real lab environments).

I'm old school, I still like good old fashion weed joints best. Don't get me wrong I like good quality concentrates as well but sometimes find them a little overwhelming.

You can make one if you buy the plates and control unit. A small press is needed. The bigger the press the better. At the same time there are many on amazon.ca for a good deal too. some are aripoff and others are the ticket.

Yea, I will likely invest in plates at some point and find a used 10-20 ton press to affix them to.

20 ton...plus cooling fans for the ram. Heat is an issue for the ram in some units. Buyer beware.

I don't mind Rosin, but prefer shatter. PHO blend has better terps then BHO, but it's all fiya. I rarely smoke flowers anymore. I actually just sent a table of flowers out for fresh frozen Live processing.

I love rosin and that is what I will be doing with all of my trim and probably some of my bud as well but I will never stop smoking joints either.

I love rosin and actually picked up a used mr rosin from a friend. 195 for 3 min with dryed pre pressed 2gram pucks of weed works best. IMO also side not some strains will go sappy almost water like

I've been asked to make a concentrate that can be used in vape pen.

Anyone have experience pressing rosin from Kief or ice-water? Care to share your insights?

I've been making rosin for a while and love it. It does depend on the strain. I had some 501st og that hardly returned anything. Couldn't squeeze shit it off it, and it was pretty potent weed. Check out this guys method. I believe it's as close as you can get to live resin without a lot of expensive equipment. I'll be trying this soon and post a report on it.

Its all relatively the same off a nail set at higher temps

fresh frozen is AWESOME shit to work with

you DONT have to crush it like he did GEEESUS..
just being frozen is enough..and beating the shit out of it isnt needed either..
it wont turn green like his if you are slower and more gentle.
