Mate it is all a journey the day you think you know everything is the day you stop learning. I am only new to the forum but that Yoda guys is obviously the forum idiot so it is best to ignore him.
Yea. He goes around trying to piss in everyone's Cheerios in the led section. You would think leds touched him inappropriately when he was a kid or something the way he acts.

I don't know if I said or not but those are gen7 1212 cobs.
4000k 90cri.

Geyapex sent the info over and pdf.
Interesting, I wonder why they chose this. Makes a good veg light but not ideal for flowering. I guess the nice thing is you can order some 3000k or 3500k from cobkits for cheap and swap them out if you like.

It will work fine for flower. I'm sure they chose it because its the middle ground. Good for veg and flower.

If I order more it will be with a driver and double what I have in there.

Ill give it a fair shake and see what it does.

I'm getting a good flat canopy with it.

Hey where did you buy them bro? How much? I am looking at COB LEDs so I can stop posting messages about COB LEDs. I have COB LED - OCD.
This light is from geyapex. @Geyapex Technology can answer questions. Geyapex.com

The price of the fixture will be higher than what I paid. I am testing the light. I got it for the price of shipping.

Check their website out.

It may be gen 6. I'm just quoting what the company told me.

To give a bit more info, the smaller lights use a Meanwell HLG-240H-C1400B driver, whereas the larger lights use their own proprietary drivers that do not feature dimming. I believe that the proprietary drivers also run at around 1400ma, so you get a small boost to the lumen output over the 1050ma on the data sheet at the cost of some efficiency - not a huge difference from my understanding.

Still, 2 of these CLU048-1212 chips are roughly equivalent to a Vero 29 4000k "D" type chip with better coverage for small grows. Not a bad investment for those who can't (or won't) DIY and don't want to shell out the cash for Timber or TastyLED lights.
