I have never been a fan of Texas, (I liked Urban Cowboy) and especially their politics, but as an American I feel pity for those poor souls that in a matter of hours, have lost their homes and all their possessions, and some their lives.

Sorry, can't agree. She's the wife of the prez and her appearance with him while only symbolic of unity, there is no harm in her being there. Sometime people like their irrational symbols for comfort. Given all that's happened, any comfort to anybody makes her appearance worthwhile.

That said, she wore stiletto heels to a flood? Not sensible.

She might be the 1st lady, but everyone in their right mind know's that she's a money grubbing bimbo, that sold her ass to the highest bidder, in this case the POTUS.
Do you really think she loves that 70 year old, fat, lunatic, man child?

Clearly, she wasn't there for you. Or me.

I'm convinced she despises Trump but loves his money.

With all the power that comes to her to do good as first lady, Melania hasn't lifted a finger. I'm more offended by her refusing to do good when the cost to her would be so small. She's just another sociopath, like Trump.

Symbolism isn't important to me either. To some it is. And to some of those who might have been gratified to see the first lady at Trump's side during a symbolic visit by the Prez, then good. I see no harm in her being there. Doesn't make me like her any more.

Is "liize" your go to debating tool. I don't even care if she had been a prostitute before becoming a super model. Her past isn't important. She was handed a role through which others have done a lot of good and hasn't done a fucking thing. Spoke out against internet bullying? Like I said she hasn't done a fucking thing. Spends most of her time racking up yuuuuuge security expenses in her NY home. Does that sound like the couple is close?

We are social primates and those with average intelligence can see almost immediately when a couple is just acting like they are still close. Totally obvious. Except to readers of National Enquirer.

Speaking of which, have you ever known anybody who read that rag? It's still on the racks at the grocery but I've never, not once, seen anybody buy it. A headline I recently saw on the NE said Obama had a sinister plot against Trump. Sounded just like you.

Love the music scene in Texas. Too many to try to list, but for a Florida boy, I do listen to a lot of it. Here is one of my favorites.



I will drop a few bucks in a jar. But I have seen the dirty underbelly of the Red Cross. When I give, it will be at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Those guys do really good work.
