Lots of good reviews of Mammoth P around the 'net. Well worth a try imo. As soon as it is in the UK I'll be using it for sure.Hello all. I've heard a lot of good things about Mammoth P lately. Is it worth the try? I usually use Great White Roots along with Voodoo Juice, Piranha and Tarantula. So if it could take the place of these I could save some big $$$. Thanks.
What do you normally use instead of the Mammoth P?my stock nutrient regime
Nothing but base hydroponic nutrients. Coir DTW.What do you normally use instead of the Mammoth P?
OK...I'm a bit confused cos Mammoth P isn't a nutrient.Nothing but base hydroponic nutrients. Coir DTW.
Right! , but supposable microbes to help enhance P uptake.OK...I'm a bit confused cos Mammoth P isn't a nutrient.
Yeah OK....Sorry I thought you were using it as a nute, I misunderstood what you were saying. It's supposed to be really good for the root zone which helps uptake of nutrients, including P. Are you growing organically?Right! , but supposable microbes to help enhance P uptake.
Hydro nute's all synthetic. Not tried it in an organic medium as I don't use organics indoors.Yeah OK....Sorry I thought you were using it as a nute, I misunderstood what you were saying. I guess the answer is to ty it for myself.
I got ya....thanks for the clarification dude.Hydro nute's all synthetic. Not tried it in an organic medium as I don't use organics indoors.
All I'm stating is that I've noticed no difference with it's use in a passive hydro system.
I use it along with great white. I ran two clones a while back side by side one with mammoth p and the other without both were in 7 gallon pots in super soil only water was used of course. The rate of growth was noticeable as well as the colors of the strain I was using. End weight after drying was higher to an extent the big difference was the root structure the one without you could push the sides of the cloth pots in the one where mammoth was used had such dense root it felt almost like a solid pot. To note i use it with my Carolina reapers and the peppers get noticeably bigger and much deeper red than others. I think it's a good product I wish they would knock the price down a bit. It's good to add I feel as long as your grow is dialed in and your trying to squeeze that extra bit out of your grow. That's my 2 pennies on it anyway.I got ya....thanks for the clarification dude.
It really depends on how well you've dialed your grow in for any products in this realm. It's kind of like workout products just because your using any one product doesn't mean you'll grow and get stronger if your base i.e. In this case growing environment and all that are in harmony. Once that becomes the case then other products that squeeze that extra can be worth you time and money. Hell im working on framing up a floor that contains cob lights to get even more light in my flower rooms.I started to use P after seeing some Growmau5 videos on it. Honestly it has little difference for me but I do reuse my coir so maybe it holds some of microbes from grow to grow. Dynamo said if has a short shelf life so buy the smallest amount possible and make sure you get if from a vendor who has not been sitting on it. I don't think it was worth the money for me but to each his own.
I kinda go along with that too, generally speaking. I do think though that there is a difference between products that make wild claims 'out of thin air' and those that are backed up by good science. P seems to be slightly different in that it isn't a nute with claims that it magically makes colas grow bigger, fatter and frostier, but a collection of beneficial bacteria that improves the uptake of nutes from the soil.I subscribe to the "it's all basically the same shit" philosophy. I've seen a lot of people use a lot of different nutes with varying levels of success.
Be sure you share a pic of that floor..... I got's ta see that......Journal a run with it too.It really depends on how well you've dialed your grow in for any products in this realm. I was planning on it I'm waiting on drivers and have to get a big enough piece of plexi glass to go over the whole thing to seal it up.Be sure you share a pic of that floor..... I got's ta see that......Journal a run with it too.
You might consider tempered glass. It won't scratch up and lower the delivery of photons like Plexi,Lexan, etc.I was planning on it I'm waiting on drivers and have to get a big enough piece of plexi glass to go over the whole thing to seal it up.
