This is my first serious grow attempt. Prior to beginning, I gathered alot of information from rollitup and other sources and planned my grow.
I have a closet in my garage that I will grow in. I weatherstripped and light proofed the door, ran GFI power, installed a ceiling exhaust, mylar the walls, then went shopping for my gear.
Bought a "Mega Farm" by HydroFarm. I liked the specs for the price of this ebb-and-flow hydro system. Above it I hung a 400w hps.
I picked up some clones from a medical dispensary not far from where I live and brought home (6) Hindu-Kush clones and (1) Sensi-Star clone.
I let them continue to root in their rockwool cubes for a week at 24 hour light. Then they went into the Mega Farm. I fed the plants General Hydroponics brand Flora Nova one-part grow food (7-4-10) and balanced the ph. I checked ph daily and watched the plants closely. They were not growing. After 10 days with very minimal growth, I PULLED OUT OF THE MEGA GARDEN AND PUT THEM IN SOIL. "Whitney Farms, Uncle Malcolm's Potting Soil" with living microbes.
After just a couple days, they really began to take off.
Here is a pic. The plant with the wire cage is Mortgage-Lifter Tomato. The plant with the rock in the pot is the Sensi-Star. The six remaining are Hindu-Kush.
