Is a 4x8 tent manageable for one with not a great deal of experience indoor?

I've been needing to grow medicine to take care of someone and finally getting the opportunity. I'm wondering if a 4x8 is manageable? Or should I start with a 4x4?

Is this your first grow? I started with a 5x2. how many plants you gonna grow?

Nice. as many that will fit really. Better to have a surplus of medicine than be short
Well four 5gal buckets barely fit in a 2x2. So if you know a bit already it shouldn't be too hard to keep up with a 4x8! I'm about to be a bit more limited with my spaces so I'll be doing a lot of smaller plants instead of fewer bigger.
Would you write out the setup you will be using? Lights, nutes, soil or hydro? Strain you're growing? :D

Yes. Dont know how a flood table is going to fit in a tent whare height is already limited. Most tents are only 72 to 78 inches high. Also wouldnt do hydro first grow. Hydro is not forgiving and much more expensive to get going. Organic soil is much easier to learn with and is verry forgiving. In my shop i suggest new gardeners start with happy frog soil and the roots organic master pack (a compleate organic nute line) follow the directions on there feed scedule which has week by week instructions and you will never have a ph problem or dificiency. As you learn you can alter the scedule or move on to more advanced growing methods

Tray only need to be tall enough to drain. 6 inches.

Why buy soil and still use multiple bottles?

Hydro is self explanatory with Ionic. Start at 10 ml per gallon work way up to 20ml. Keep the ph between 5.6-6.2. It's one bottle from start to finish.

I would kill for 6 more inches in my tent. Been thinking of upgrading to a gorilla just because of that. Why multiple bottles? If you have strong lights then happy frog alone you will have dificiencies. If you buy one bottle you follow the directions you use 5 times more than if you have the entire scedule its only a tsp per gal of whichever bottles it calls for. The entire box is only 77 bucks and will last much longer than one bottle and it provides everything you need including slow release powders. He can go hydro if he likes many do hydro just fine there first grow. Lots also fail there first hydro grow also. Just suggesting the eaaiest way to get a good grow with the smallest chance of fail. Less to worry abought

Actually was looking at ionic 3 tbs per gallon bloody hell even at half strength thats almost an oz per gallon. Wouldnt you rather use a tsp per gallon of 5 bottles thats under an oz of 5 different bottles. Sounds cheeper to me to to go with the feeding scedule

My flowering tent is 4x8. I run perpetual. Its very manageable even perpetually.
It can be as simple or complicated as you like. Its not hard. One tip though, unless you can access all sides of your tent don't try and scrog a 4x8, keep in mind you need to be able to water the plants without throwing gallons of water over everything.

It's about ease of use for a new grower not about money. One bottle will make for less mistakes than 5.

I have never used more than 20ml per gallon. And at $25-30 a gallon it's pretty cheap to use.
