I messed around for years with forum advice and in 08 I didnt want to mess around any more so I read one of those first and same thing here, My 2- 2x4 tents poured out units just like I was told they would perpetually . My first thought was shame on all those shitty growers of my past supply chains. The best part about it is with the right controls the results are repeatable, without we got nothing.I really agree that reading and following the info in those 2 books will pretty much guarantee success.
I read them (and every thread and article I could search) and followed mostly eds perpetual setup guide and grew just under a pound of better weed than I could get at the dispensary or on the street in my 4x4 tent the first try.
Works good for memoisture meeter bwahaha lol. The toughest thing is learning how easy it is. Outdoors training is less important as support. Indoors the easiest thing you can do to increase yealds is good training and canopy managment
Im sure it does... Untill it dosent. Like all gadgets eventually it will fail and may take your plants with it. Use the meter to learn how light the pots are when you water and wean your self off the moisture meterWorks good for me
Tomato....I have 2 hybrids from India, 1lb romas, huge and tasty.Welcome to RIU. My advice to all new growers is to get a couple of tomato plants and a handful of bag seed. Even if you are just a couple three weeks ahead of your bought seeds, you can learn {ie. kill a few} on the bag seed without the social, economic and emotional pressures. Good luck.
i recon they are great...some big plant growers in the outdoor section also use them.Yes i know there is such a thing i was just busten on the suggestion to get one. Waist of 8 bucks. If you think you need something to tell you when to water use the wimpy plant method. Thats whare you put a wimpy shallow rooting plant in the pot with your girl. The wimpy plant will wilt first. When it wilts its time to water. Honestly though you can tell by the weight of the pot. When you first fill the pot see how light it is. Then water it untill saterated. See how heavy it is. Last point... Like all devices it will eventually fail. Imagin your great grandma hearing that people need a machine to tell them when to water a plant. She would fall off her horse laughing lol
I have had mine for 6 years. You would rather weigh the plant than use this? My plants are LST and it would be a BITCH to weigh them. For me it is one less thing to worry about.
