The flush "myth"

Lol you don't even make since old head. THC has the most psychoactive property, the higher the THC the more POTENT the pot. There no in between. The other cannabinoids have minute effects on the the brain, psychoactive wise. Most strains are hybrid and are a mixture of highs and lows but the rating of THC tells you the potency. You could be right that old dusty seed filled grass from the 70s with 1% THC will get you higher than let's gg4 with 22%. Stupid man!
Actually, all of the cannabinoids work together. Strains that have a 1:1 THC/CBD ratio are fabulous for mind/body.

It's pretty funny your that against flushing. Everything turns brown agriculturally when it becomes nutrient starved. Why smoke nutrient filled buds. Even tree leaves turn brown when the roots go dormant and it eats it's reserves. Common knowledge, why smoke nitrogen filled pot.

I mean there is strain as we all know that have a higher ratio CBD than THC, I've grown Harliquinn witch is a great strain for aches and pains but don't barely get you high.

So are you talking about "fading"? Like just tapering off the nitrogen until leaves turn yellow?
That's actually a popular method of growing, but only because many growers are paranoid when it comes to giving their plants nitrogen during flower. The problem with this method is that you lose lots of little solar panels, but the nitrogen levels in buds remains constant. (Nitrogen moves from leaves to buds -- it doesn't get "flushed" out of the plant.)

Has anyone defined the term "flushing"?
My plants get only water the last week, but I don't consider that flushing. To me flushing means using an additive like citric acid or yucca in an effort to dissolve residual salts in the growing medium.
Also, I don't recall anyone saying flushing is particularly harmful -- just unnecessary.
My definition of flushing is using allot of water or chemicals to leach the medium of salts. Flushing the salts away in essence.

I *love* Harlequin for aches & pains! Smoke a couple extra hits & it'll get ya plenty high. Nice smooth buzz too... :eyesmoke:

That makes sense. I guess I don't leach either because it doesn't involve a lot of water & zero chemicals. I just give them the same quantity of liquid -- it just doesn't have any nutes. The goal is for the plant to use whatever it's got left in the soil -- which shouldn't be much, unless I screwed up.

That's what I meant by highs and lows but THC has the most psychoactive property.
So. Thc by itself would be nothing. Its why the thc pills patented by the government are shit.

Studies on cannabis are limited and recent studies show more than thc to be psychoactive.

What part of all of the cannabinoids working together do you not understand.

You sound like this other new member that said the same thing.

Said new pot was better. Thc was the end all. Even said there was no difference in the buzz of a sativa and indica. It was all based on how you felt when you smoked it.

The reason different weed has different buzzes is the different cannabinoid profile.

The whole testing and high thc thing is mostly market gimmick.

Its also part of the whole anti marijuana reffer madness. Oh no's we have to ban the new super pot.

Give me a break. Humans have been using and growing cannabis for thousands of years.

I do find it a tad amusing and annoying how some ill informed American growers think that 60s weed was all low THC.
I know right.

If someone had some of the real deal old strains they would be rich.

Yea. One minute claim today's pot is the strongest ever but the next be looking for some panama red or Columbian gold.

He'll not even that far back. Look at the people looking for real road kill or red hair skunk.

Something has been lost in these new polyhybrids. I think breeding for nothing but thc has a lot to do with it.

i think they just concentrated on what was readily available to them, in America, which was Mexican brick and forgot about the rest of the world or those who actually sourced good pot. Look at the Asian or Afghani strains? High THC and old school legs.

I just popped some Shit x Shit/Skunk. Old skool cool. So many people want the legs of the old school strains.
