Can you show me where she called Assad a humanitarian hero?

As for her "nutball conspiracy theories about false flag chemical weapons attacks"....She wants Trump to gather some solid evidence proving that Assad did indeed use those chemical weapons that prompted Trumps missile strike, and present that evidence to congress so that they can authorize military intervention. You know, how it's supposed to be done. Do you not understand congress' role in authorizing the use of military force? Do you not feel that it's a good idea to follow proper protocol before we drop bombs on peoples heads? Do you remember Iraq? Do you Trust Donald Trump to be making unilateral decisions such as this? Donald Trump?!?! Please tell me that you understand, and believe in the checks and balances set forth in the war powers resolution, and why those are so important when we have a lunatic man-child in possession of the nuclear codes...?

Sucking off Putin and Assad are strikes one and two, but opposing lgbtq rights is a definite strike three for me.


As a state representative, Gabbard opposed LGBT rights, including same-sex marriage and civil unions. But she subsequently opposed the Defense of Marriage Act, arguing that "marriage is a bond of love, and it's spiritual and metaphysical in nature. Any hard evidence is gone by now. We aren't rehashing this bit about some fake conspiracy where people were gassed by ground gas attack are we? Followed by a fake air strike?

The story didn't make any sense then either.

Completely there with you about reining in the presidency's power to use military strike forces for assassinations and destabilizing governments we don't like. But let's pick our battles wisely.

Until now, the people repeating this are not reliable for information. This is fake news.

Doesn't change the fact that Rump launched a military strike without a strategy or preparation for the consequences. That he did it without notifying Congress and Congress is just rolling over without defending its constitutional role is very concerning. The false flag rumor is unnecessary and distracts from the very concerning issue of a rogue president who unilaterally commits acts war on other governments.

I'm not taking a position one way or the other on the evidence (or lack thereof) that Assad used those chemical weapons. I just don't feel that's it's wrong of Gabbard to want to follow protocol, and not give someone like Donald Trump a blank check to use our military as he sees fit. I would hope that Buck agrees with that....

Buck's stock and trade is not agreeing with people. Don't hold your breath.
