Not bashing at all, I'm happy to hear that your experience wasn't unpleasant and you're safe.

But I left Florida because I didn't want to be stuck in the position of rolling the dice with my safety and my life savings. Climate change is tilting the odds in the wrong direction.

Since you're there, you've made a different choice. I'm interested in your perspective on this?

We better hurry, China uses taller ladders.
20 yrs from now the Chinese wont seem as bad for providing transportation as they divert oil.

Buying the American rail system from the private companies that own it would allow us to use public funding to dramatically improve the system now in place.

As it is, Amtrak is a bad joke. The last time I rode it the cars were grubby, the dining service was expensive and they kept stopping the train so more important loads of coal could pass!

But if you are rich you can use "Fastpass" to get around all those commoners.

I've been resisting the urge to adopt a cat (both of my very old cats took their final catnip toke and said, "peace out bitches", last year). That kitty pic probably just put me over the edge. May a squirmy but mostly benign organism enter your pee hole and cause you slight urination discomfort (but just for today).

I have been chased by a few hurricanes being a native from the south. Leaving from them n being followed, trying to get bk. hm. what wild rides now.. as long as the longitude is NOT 22 and the latitude is NOT 17.. I GOTHERDUN...such a awesome :arrow: to see over and gone:hump::leaf:water,candles,cannedfoods.tolitpaper.. and my420giterdun:peace:bongsmilie
