Canada Marijuana Legalization: Police Services Ask Feds To Postpone July 2018 Start Date

they may never be able to let go of the prejudice ... Had two of them at my door...on sat night....12:30am..My Neighbour called and told them I was setting off fireworks...which was not true....but rather just a shitty neighbour trying to cause me discomfort...but did not work...

first thing said...was How come I can smell mj? That's because I have a medical licence...i said...
Can we see it.?.Yes I said...Can we see your plants..?.Yes I said... I have zero to hide....
They came counted....tried to tell me my Lic was expired...I begged to differ...and explained the diff between MMAR,MMPR and acmpr.
and they said thank you...and left....
I am happy to see them come ...checking on my grow....considering last year....and if they want to come park in my driveway...that's ok too...

I would have said, "sure you can take a look at what ever you want when you come back with a warrant."

If the focus of this so-called legalization is about the kids, killing the black market, and not destroying people's lives for smoking a plant. Why is so much focus still on policing and training more police before legalization? They should be talking about and asking for funding to re-train cops for more useful police services, not be so worried about how to catch the new outlaws???

Because if the cops are gonna lose all the easy arrests they lose a large chunk of income. This is their way of keeping the lights on...........Infact the gov't cares SO much about the kids that its legal to posess as a minor essentially. No punishment for it just those they procure it from

Well, to be honest, that's a good thing. No 16 year old should have to be thrown into the adult system and charged with felonies just for possession of a legal substance.

Neither should a 76 year old or anyone of any age for that matter.........

Had a similar experience myself about a month ago. Was having some drinks with a bud at my place and than cops knocked on my front door(4 of them). Except these cops knew about my license already. They were asking about my buddies work van that was parked out front of my house. They thought we were loading it up with weed lmao.

Pretty sure it was my neighbor who called them. The other day when I was moving I was talking to my neighbors son and he said he already knew about my license, cause "his mother told him". Of course only way she would know is likely from the cops when she probably phoned me in. Oh well. Moved to an acreage a week ago so hopefully all goes smooth here.

Acreages come with a lot of headaches, right now I am filling a big water tank in the back of my truck because my well ran out this morning. Still it is well worth not having to deal with neighbors, I love it! I can take a piss or shoot skeets right off my deck and nobody can say shit.
