Are Fabric Bags Safe?

They're fine, plants actually grow better in them. You don't get those huge rootswirls In the fabric pots. Not sure if you actually end up with more roots necessarily but they seem to be more efficient.

because the bags are black the baby cannot see the bubbles inside, so yeah, they must be safe, at least for babies to use.

I love those root swirls. My plants dont even take off until those swirls reach the bottom and begin twirling up.
no matter what size bucket I use, even up to 55 gallon....those roots swirl at the bottom for great success.
whenever I pul a plant out of the ground and the roots are loose and not swirled....I know I didnt veg long enough in the up pot for best results.

Are Fabric Bags Safe? I'm scare they'll kill my plants and I won't be able to take it :eyesmoke:
Fabric pots are great! My understanding of them is that they help to air-prune the roots, and cause a larger root mass. I've been using them (both smart and air pots) for years now without issue and prefer them over plastic pots. :)

The girl in the picture was in a 7 gallon smartpot, and my two girls outside in the same pots are doing great as well.

I have been using those Tyvek bags you get at the shops for groceries. Put two in each other for strength. It takes a crapload of soil.

Generic plant bags are fine, just punch it FULL of holes with a paper punch for a cheap effective root making grow bag.

I went with the manifold technique (not perfectly executed by any means lol, she spent a little too much time in veg). Feel free to check out the journal here. https://www.rollitup.org/t/2x-big-diesel-under-2x-900w-leds.940339/page-5#post-13772373

I chopped her about 10 days early (as soon as the trichs were where I wanted them) and still pulled a qp off the girl. :)

As long as what you have gets the job done, the manufacturer is irrelevant. I used some generic 4 gallon fabric pots for a few years with great results. :)
