No geezer it's terrible. The last time I done it was about 6 months ago. The quality was awful. Never had so many complaints! It's put me off doing anything else from hso although they probably do have some good strains
They just seem to be really hit and miss or something like that it would seem. I've had lots of success and failure with HSO, however all of my failures have been related to germination rates fortunately (could be Attitude and not HSO though?). Whenever i'm able to get an HSO plant to actually finish, the quality is pretty damn amazing. I've done their Blueberry Headband, Purple Trainwreck, and Green Crack and have been beyond stoked with the results from all of them. The Blueberry Headband was rather bland, but I figured that was because it was done outdoor and the Blueberry lineage just made her more finicky compared to others in terms of outdoors. High was amazing but not much of a smell/taste, again probably because of me and not the seeds. Green Crack had the most amazing mango scent to it and the Purple Trainwreck has incredible bag appeal, purple smell, and is just great all around.
However, all of the above being said there are definitely much better seeds out there now adays. I personally just go with HSO for the time being because of my particular situation. I've yet to get myself a veg/clone room established and don't see myself being able to do that properly for at least another few months, so for those reasons I go with feminized seeds. I know all the bad rep feminized seeds get, but without a dedicated room for sexing I simply don't have the time to go with regular seeds. I feel that if I'm going to go through all the effort sexing seeds and pheno hunting, then I should have a room/space available for mothers.
Seeing as I do an entire cycle in my room (veg and flower) if I were to use regular seeds I'd have to go through the process of sexing them. Not only does that take 2-4 weeks, but you can go from having 25 plants to 5-10 plants once they start to sex. For my personal situation, it's easier to run all feminized seeds so that way if I have 25 sprouts I know I'll have 25 plants for sure.
HSO isn't necessarily a bad seed bank by any means, it's just that they pale in comparison to some of their competition that's out there right now. There are over 5 strains testing over 30% THC last I saw, Rare Dankness and Bodhi gear will provide 20, if not 25% THC and both are pretty much considered the top dogs for genetics. In fact, unless I'm mistaken they've actually been the top dogs for genetics for the last handful of years actually.
tl;dr: HSO has always provided me with mediocre germination rates at best, however the quality was there for sure.
