Are small stealth Grows a waste?

Thats exactly what i was looking at.. or the horticultural lighting group has a few.. but when it cobs I have zero knowledge....I always imagined cobs being really expensive though. Appreciate the time and knowledge brother thank you hazed!!!

I Figuered the vipar weren't top shelf but for the price this would be great for my small cab but as far as harm goes i.e. Bruing leaves and heat in general I don't know the min or max wattage for this size cab.

I've seen people get excellent results with them. The one im looking at getting is the viparspectra reflector series 600w only $179 so pretty cheap and still pulls an actual wattage of 276. I'm only gonna have a couple plants in a 3x3x5' tent. Figured it'll be a goodstart lol

if your considering building your own grow light and you have decided to use LEDs have you considered bridgelux EB strips?https://www.digikey.com/products/en?dc=64113 these are as efficient as the best COBs,can be run at 700ma with no heat sink, and provide more even light distribution so can be place closer to plants if vertical space is limited. a few years ago a couple of growers here were using standard strip lights in a cabinet grow and having some success general rule of thumb is to use between 25 and 50 watts per square foot. what size is your cabinet?

I'm using a unit farm ufo80 in my 2x2. It has single diodes. White, blue and red. Cree and osram diodes.

It cost a little more. They are a spnoser here. They have a lite model out that's a little cheaper with bridgelux diodes.

I'm surprised at how well it grows. The veg switch is doing a better job than the 2 foot 6 bulb t5. Runs a lot cooler than the t5.

3w X 2d x 4h. Trying to pro/con building a unit as apposed to buying one

The bridelux strips look great but do they. Come in kits what would I push them with (sorry totally ignorant here) ...could I use them along the sides and have another unit above the canopy
