Best soil and nutes for autos

Hey all
First time grower and ive made some newbie mistakes. One if them it appears is my choice of soul and nutes:
Biobizz light mix
Voodoo juice
Biobizz growth/bloom/topmax
Cal/mag
I ph water to 6.5

Only ask is because despite being on day 32 my bottom leaves are yellowing and have been told biobizz range has changed and you need to buy their other ranges (worm casting etc) to mix their soil to be viable (makes them more money). Also been told it's a Dutch company designed for Dutch style water which is different to.... I don't know let's say UK water.

Does anyone have any thoughts or recommends a different medium/nute set up for my next grow, for arguments sakes let's say I'm in the UK....

I just had my skunk #1 start flowering four or five days ago and all I used was ffof. I'm just now using tiger bloom for flowering. Zero complaints

Fox farm ocean forest soil. I used it from germination and it lasted a good six weeks for me. I didn't have to add anything else.

Wow 6 weeks? Was it not too hot for the seedlings. I thought with auto seedlings it was better to go light mix than all mix if your not going to transplant. Quick question tho how did you know it was time to put frets in after 6 weeks. Did you wait to see the start of deficiencies? Or was it just by another physical trait you see and if so what? Or just from experience?

Viridios- No, it wasn't "too hot" for this auto seedling, it was perfect. I started and kept it in a 3g smartpot. No transplant. At six weeks, my auto started to flower, so I didn't have to add any veg nutes. Once I saw the white pistils, I added tiger bloom (which is a flowering nute). Very, very simple grow. And this was outdoors.

Veg nutes are a null in any form of dirt growing.... unless you are begging for 6 weeks and cultivating some seriously trained trees....

And never (ever) [ever-ever-ever-ever-ever]{insert Chris Tucker .img here} transplant auto's..... just... dont. They do not like any kind of root.....anything. Let the roots be, plant into pot you plan to finish in...

Not trying to argue but you can transplant auto as long as you're very careful, if you break or mess up some of the roots they will begin to flower. I like to start them in smallish pots like a one liter then transplant them to large pots once they show sex ( my own reg sex auto). They End up stretching for longer and getting bigger before full on bud.

Sounds simple but beautiful good tips for new growers. Most people (me one of them) add grow as a matter of course rather than checking what the plant is telling you. Basically the opposite to a good company: reactive rather than proactive.

I didn't know by adding grow feed it will prolong the veg in an auto. I thought they automatically switch when it's their time to flower based on their genes . Hear this is the major gripe photo growers have with autos; the lack of choice to switch them. Was this bs what I heard from other places?

Its sort of predetermined. The tap root actually determines flower.

Using bigger pots and veg nutes will extend veg.

Plant straight to 3-5 gallon pots and use veg nutes the whole grow. At least until stretch is over.

Flower nutes can actually induce flowering.

I use organic soil I make.

These were in 15 inch wide pots that hold 5 gallons.

I like a mix of Fox Farm Ocean Forest and Happy Frog with a good ammount of perlite added for autos. I also use the Flora series for nutes (gro, micro, bloom) and have no problems.

Iv had just straight up FFOF kill some seedlings but it seems to be more on the genectics of the plant. Most autos seem pretty good but they can b VERY picky about soil. Kinda hit and miss with autos all around lol never know what ur gonna get!
