ok y'all I have some pics of plants that I've had on here. And am I guess the best plant killer on the planet. At the beginning of the summer in az I had 17 germinated plants. 5 of which I bought from nirvana. And as of today the last 2 died. Actually all died during flowering. 2 in hydro all others outside. I realize my temps around here where 110 to 115 until last week but jeez. I want to know how to just do it. I've read everything and tried it all. How the hell do you just get this sh... to growin such temps. My hydro developed root rot along with a timer fail that kept the light on for 4 days I have a 4' growzilla set up I bought well you know the price. And I haven't been able to do nothing. What the hell can I grow in az heat badgers welcom

heat is not good, in the southwest, you can spend more money on A/C then lights, some times a year.

Air conditioning is your key to success, oh and dump the hydro till you get a chiller, it's Arizona man lol.

I hear ya So what can I do to grow outside in this hell I live in. I've painted pots white. Used shade and kept a solid moisture gauge in all of them. It seems I don't use my nutes correctly. I follow my gh trio req amounts And it has bit me in all my indoor and outdoor plants

Try starting now and grow thru the winter... Also nute manufacturers like to sell nutes..I usually use about half of their recommended amount...

I only grow indoors during the winter months because I won't add a/c. I grow the odd plant outdoors but my environmentals are not great for pot. Focusing during the winter solves both problems.

Use hydrogard for prevention high water temperature root root. Check it out.

Dumping an additive into the mix isn't going to fix their problems. They need to use a different growing style to work with the environmental factors they are dealing with. Soil or coco would be a better choice for growing medium and would eliminate the root rot and make things easier in the process.

Although I've ha good luck using hydroguard I think OPs temps are getting way out of hand but yes he could try it, it saved a grow of mine till I got the chiller up and running .

I'm in Nevada not as hot but pretty close sometimes. Choose equatorial strains and start your grow in October or November(if you don't get freezes in winter months). Equatorial plants want shorter days. Or grow indoors

Oh and hey, the desert gets cold at night so plan on some sort of cold frame pvc deal. I've seen the Mojave go from 123°f at 3pm to 0°f at 3 am. The ground holds enough heat to weather through if you cover them. Plants have an easier time if the roots are cool during the hot hours of the day. And hydrogaurd works fine.
