Does using a flushing solution mean I can flush with less water?

IMO, dont use a flushing agent. Just go with plain pH'd water, and lots of it.

I've had plants react very poorly to FF Sledgehammer which is supposedly organic and not harmful to plants. Ha! Tell that to my plants! It was ugly...:-( Perhaps it was user error, i don't really know, but i only went with half strength. What I do know is that I've never had a bad reaction to plain pH'd water.

If you're flushing used soil for a new grow, i would recommend even more so to use only pH'd water. You don't want to take chances with seeds/seedlings/clones in your next grow! Nothing worse than starting out a grow trying to fix a problem.
New wells cost over 5 grand. stop wasting water.

Anybody else mad that people get great results using any kind of flushing methods?

Go read a botany book, horticulture. Not ONE book will mention 'flushing'
God... it's a marketing scheme by nutrient companies so retards like you go buy their products. Which are mainly water and sugars.
plants don't work how you think they do.

Marketing scheme lol...yeah please dont use our 8 bottles of nutrients the last 2 weeks...just use this one bottle for a single watering? If they wanted to make more money it seems they would encourage their entire line all the way to harvest...

Ball RedBook does... did you go to horticulture school? Apparently not...

Further, if I flush with water, how does that support this conspiracy "scheme" if there's no products being bought....

You certainly did not. Flushing isn't real. Does nothing.
Keep wasting water if you want, as many of you on here do.

giraffes in Africa could use the water you waste doing your 'flush'
Poor, poor giraffes

Smart guy, your assertion made a claim that I was able to refute off the top of my head, because I've read those books.. you haven't because you clearly don't know what is written in them.

idiot makes a claimg (blatantly wrong) then refuses to answer if is even educated on the subject so bravely jumps into offering insulting advice, to then assume they know anything of the education of others, when they haven't even read the books they claim to know what they do not contain...

If it mentions flushing i have no interest.
well you seem to because you chimed in here smart guy

try reading one book, just one on horticulture before you tell me about the books I've read and what they do or don't contain within the pages next time

Keep flipping through the toilet brochure. Flushing for plants is not a thing.

It is if you run salt based nutrients... But with organics its a complete waste of time.
Thank you for having intelligence, your existence is appreciated.

FWIW I run hydro/dwc and a flush is nothing more than not feeding, i'm not shoving endless gallons of fluid through a coco/soil medium (although I have friends that do with great success as well as has been documented ad nauseam)

Lol. You guys keep doing you, waste your time. I will keep doing what i've been doing and having success.
Give it time, others will tell you the same.

As far as salts vs organic, in the end it breaks down all the same.
You're right, i am clueless. That's why so many people agree with so many things i say.

Yet you keep replying... been doing this for some time, as have others, and others still win with their flushed defoliated crops, keep thinking your way is the only way... others in society who thought that way didn't do so well. Open your mind bud.

Np lol,
In hydro I did the same thing, just circulated ph'ed water with hydroguard and sometimes florakleen for like an hour, dump the res n your good.

Coco + salt build = suckage imo, the salts tank the coco/root system ph so hard it's not even funny. I absolutely despise flushing coco, I've literally had dreams about it, an endless room of pots that all need flushing, I wake up and need a clonopin lol. I've been seriously considering organics because I think coco flushing is giving me ptsd...

btw just ignore the troll, with salt based nutes the first thing you learn is the need for salt flushing. Anyone that thinks otherwise has never grown with salt based nutes, and thus shouldn't be giving advice, much like 90% of this forums population, sadly...

You're one of them people who claim to know the difference in taste and appearance of a 'flushed' vs non 'flushed' plant aren't you?
You leech the soil to wash out salts. You do nothing physically to the plant. Which is where you think 'flushing' comes into play.

I feed my plants right up to last 2 weeks then 1 plain watering and then nothing until dry then cure. Buds always come out fine, no harshness or shit taste.

How did you come up with those stats anyways? Curious.

You're one of those people who don't read...

you claim books don't talk about things they do (I've read them, still have them in my library)
you assume things of others you know nothing of...
of the things you should know of others had you read, you'd know I'm in hydro...

zero value added, added to the roster, as you like it
