That dead leaf looks like possible bud rot site. Chop it out, chop it out.

It's actually just a dead leaf. They get a lot of sun and are checked twice per day. They go inside when it rains. Thanks for lookin out. It's pretty small only three plants in 10 gallon fabric.

Good. I have seen so many of those dead leaves have rot behind them this year, I look out for them.

Well thanks for asking.
Black DoG is doing very well. In a 45 gallon smart pot.Did not stretch much. Buds are frosty and fattening up.It was touched by some rot. Looks like 7-14 days will be ideal if I can get her there.
Gorilla Bomb looks real nice. Sativa leaning of course so 10-20 more days would be heavenly. It is about 6' tall and has a little touch of rot. All cut out a sprayed of course.
Sour Diesel from Sativa seeds- big and stretchy, frosty. No mold either. I'm hoping the buds will fatten up but there are lots of them.
Looks like 10-20 days on that too.
good to hear there's not much mold on the black d.o.g and gorilla bomb. I've only grown them small 12/12 from seed and crossed fem ghost train haze 1 over them. I have 15 gorilla bomb x gth1 and 10 black d.o.g outdoors here in australia .Hoping the gorilla bomb will be a nice yeilder. Cheers for the reply

I grow in New England as well and Im pulling my hair out right now. I moved from western NY to Vermont and Im puzzled with wtf is happening w my crop. I brought a couple strains with me that finished the 25th-30th of September last year(perfect for corn) and I assumed they would do the same here in Vermont. I have over 200 out there broken up into spots of 14 that are beautiful but they still need 3 more weeks! Im crushed because I know the dairy farmers are going to start cutting corn soon. All this work, all this planing and my strains are fucking me. Everything was planted between the 5th and 15th of July, just like I do every year. WTF!! Im already worried about next year because I definitely won't be doing these genetics again. Even if I get clones or seeds from someone I won't be sure of what they will do here, any thoughts?

I used to grow in Wilmington, I seldom had luck with anything planted after June 15 (or before May 31 for that matter) a friend of mine still grows there and only grow autoflowers due to the short season. Man I am so sorry that sucks.

Good to know I'm not the only one here in the new england area having trouble. It's my second time growing and I had some beautiful plants(for me) growing and then last week of 100% humidity all day with rain caused bud rot. Chopping this week. So disappointing.

I had them in a 10 x 10 greenhouse with a fan. Kept them rotated to keep even airflow. Nothing I could've down, or was there?

Your strains were acclimated to your area. Up here everything changes. Growing my strains 1/2 hour away changes things just a little.

Ive had no trouble w that sched in NY because you have to wait or the corn to go in and get sprayed. Many yeI just can't figure out how a move only a few hours northeast would affect my flowering cycle by 3 weeks. Fack!!
Wouldn't the short season cause them to flower sooner?
So the only way to get genetics that Im sure will be finished for me is to get them from a local grower who has done them outside right here in my hood.

The short season may cause some buds to come out a little earlier due to the shorter days, however if the plant usually takes 10 weeks to ripen it is still going to pretty much take ten weeks you can't really shorten it to six. Most indoor growers know that the last 2-3 weeks are critical to yield and if you take them out you little buds that give you a headache. I grew indoor strains up there and always seemed to be getting nailed with frost and cooling ground temps. I was also in a valley so that killed my good light. I do know some growers in Bennington that go real well but even Bennington seemed to have a few more weeks then we did.

Yo Larry, finally getting hit with some bud rot myself... When in doubt im chopping...
Being a noob... I'm not sure if its rot, or just the fact that this strain is probably beyond when I should have harvested and is naturally turning a bit brown.

The rot I've noticed on my plants this year started on calyxs and turned them a brownish color, also had some of the tips of the head nugs do the same. It really sucks but hey just gotta try again next year. I'm trying to do some research on some strains that have a shorter flowering time. Supposedly there's some strains that would be ready to harvest in the beginning to middle of September which would be perfect for around here. I'd post the link I found but I can't post links yet I just Google searched best outdoor strains and found some info on royal queen seeds website.

I've got a strain that was close to ready a weeks ago... i gotta find the name of the strain, was an attitude freebie...lost the tag lol.
pistils were already turning darker and folding over by the time my other strains weren't even finished with white pistil growth.

Snip off the rot, taking at least two buds above and below it. Spray your scissors with H2O2 between snips. Also spray the spot on the plant where the rot was. And wash your hands really good before going on to the next plant.
