Are these cfl's too close to this seedling?

this is where i didn't have the bulb anywhere close to it, it was about 12" away, and also this is where it just got its baby leaves, i can show progression to, i went from clf bulb to outside when it could, just fyi

This bud is under cfl. It was my first grow. I had heat probs cuz she got so tall being sativa. I don't recommend sativas for cfl grows. lol. View attachment 4016814

you know i really never had a heat prob with sativas, i know they were a little freaky on the temps they wanted, but other than that, really had no prob, course i didn't have the fans under them, i had to my small fan to the top to keep the tops cooler. i usually moved mine inside and outside cause of the heat that i had. She turned out great, this was her.

Mine was 7 feet tall intoors topped 4 times....

I grow Indica strains and for my indoor grow space now. They are much more unified and i can pretty much control them.

i like indica, short and stocky little shits, great leafing too.....my bagOseed is just a grab bag of everything. Its fun playing with it. Finding out what i get in the end.....ck out the new momma btw. She's right at 2ft tall from the top of the pot, she'll prolly hit 4 to 5ft when i'm done, and prolly grow me out of my space that i have, keeping my fingers crossed. She started flowering about a week and half ago....

1 35 on top, and 4 23 watters on the sides. All are cool white 6500k and All with lamp clamps from the hardware store.
Be aware that kelvin/ light color has a direct influence on the harvest volume

many growers/me recommend using a 50/50-ish balance of cool white(6500 kelvin) and warm whites at 2700 kelvin for veg

later swapping them out, if no grunty light like a hps or cob, is available,

for 100% warm white or bulbs at 2700 kelvin much the same color as the light emitting from the standard hps

the red light from the bulb stimulates the hormones to make it stretch and to encourage seed set/ flowering

good luck

think when i finished up with mine i was at a 60/40 split with the bulbs, went to 6500k sunlight blue hue, and 2700k when a read hue. you do have a good point though
