I grow Indica strains and for my indoor grow space now. They are much more unified and i can pretty much control them.

Next time go 12/12 from the start for pure or mostly pure sativas.

Re original post, hold your hand at the distance you want to use the CFL, if it doesn't feel hot, you are good to go.
