Spoke to the landlord and he said leave it up and just dont let em go anywhere but the kitchen. i'll call my gas boiler mate later for another opinion.
@nc208 sup dude, yep - the neighbour downstairs is having gas installed so my boiler needs to be "checked for air locks" when theyre installing. if they stay in the kitchen its all good, if not - im going to jail!
They shouldn't need to go anywhere but the boiler. Its not like a plumber needs to check all your radiators or anything. Just the gas supply.
this is key! at the end of the day if i say they cant go anywhere else - thats final, right? the only gas fittings are in the kitchen.

Got in this morning and everything has survived a week away, some of the pots were dry as one of the reservoirs ran out...woops.
