That's a guava Dawg from seed that's really pissing me off..thinking about culling her and growing the copy I took...she about 4-5 weeks into flower and keeps stretching. One of the reasons I'm going to l.e.d.

I am no expert but I pay very closer attention to detail. My observation is that stretching happens no matter what you use. I started with fluorescent and switched later to LED. Less veg or more veg made little difference, and obviously some strains stretch more than others. I am supposed to keep my plants at least 6 inches from the light, but many of them get in as close as 3 inches and to my surprise there has been no noticeable detriment. I have had a couple that grew right between the 2 bulbs before I lowered them down to the floor. So my take from that is LED is likely not going to fry your plant, but I personally think HPS or CMH would not be so forgiving.

That depends on the chips. I've gotten some serious bleaching letting tops and fans get to close to my Crees and veros

Having just l.e.d. In this flower room would give me 6-8 more inches and that’s invaluable..so many variables when growing from seed.

For sure. I had to move some plants to the upstairs closet because my tent is only 5 ft tall. Now I have one upstairs that is like a corn stalk, but it seems to have stopped about 3 in. from the light even though the other plant kept stretching.

Little update how much more mature will she get within another week? I scoped the trichs and they seem to all mostly be cloudy but i'm aiming for amber

She’s in swell mode now and will pack more weight on over the next 1-2 weeks. I’d let her go as long as the weather permits, or until you see 5%-10% amber (personal preference).

I'm just so worried something bad is going to happen with the weather (first time grow problems lol) but def going to try and leave her long as possible this morning was pretty chilly tho
