Do feminized clones take longer to root?

I took some clones couple weeks ago. I took 5 then three days later took 10 more. Out of them there were 4 feminized clones, two in the first batch and two in the second batch. All 11 of the regulars have rooted and none of the fems have rooted so far... None of them are wilting or dead looking but it's been a long time.

I am considering just putting the feminized clones into pots and hoping for the best.. the rooted regs are taking off in 1 gallon felt pots now, some of them are twice the size they were in the cloning tray

I have never had a problem rooting FEM cuttings. All 3 of my current mothers are FEM and they all show roots in about 5-7 days and by day 10 they are planted. I use a DIY cloner very similar to the EZ-cloner you can buy off the shelf.

I have never had trouble with clones in the past. I don't think I've ever lost one before. I have never cloned feminized plants though. These are two different strains and 0 roots. Even if I pull the rapid rooter out I can't see little roots on the side like you might see before they start poking down into the tray

I've never seen any consistent differences in cloning regs or fems. Some strains/phenos can take longer to root but that goes whether they are regs or fems. If they're looking alright just give them some more time.

Woodier stems take longer in my experience but gender never made a difference. Cuts lower on the plant usually root faster. I use a diy aerocloner plain distilled water.

I think it's a strain thing - not a fem thing. the feminized GSC clones rooted today - a full week later than the other strains
