yeah i was using drip clean, i did some reading and it seems if i am using drip clean i should be using it from start to finish, and i started this on day 15 or 17 so apparently it can cause problems, and yeah was not much sitting in the bottom but with the way the airpots are designed it does soak it back up. gonna just finish up building the damn drain table on the weekend and hand water until then. will get some pond liner and drill a hole in the middle of the table let it just run into a collection valve.

still pretty crazy amount of buildup after just a few days, i was even cleaning out the trays every 2 days. i want to get it working though cause will be worth it in the end when they are dialed in better.

Thats right it would have loosened the salts of the coco all at once. What are you flushing with ? Not straight water

Yeah they are a little touchy but stick with them they are good.

I usually start my veg plants at 1or 1.2 ec and haven't had any show issues till I got to 1.4 or 1.6? I was running critical Kush at 2.4 in full bloom mode with shooting powder and the works it could handle it's food lol

yeah gotta remember autos are different lol, have to start of alot lower (some strains can handle more others less though) and found out during my first grow my PPM meter uses 0.5 conversion rate so found out the hard way my tap water is not the greatest (0.3ec) makes things difficult.

didn't switch to coco yet was still in the soil. shoulda just went to the coco lol im over this fucking canna terra pro soil super high in N is whats causing all my issues with N tox last 2 grows right on day 20 ish they all get the claw bad

I've never been a big fan of canna they had the best coco but I don't buy it anymore and their nutes I can pass on aswell

also during my first grow was using it to make up my neuts so doing like 700ppm neut mix its actually 1.4 EC so pretty damn high for autos.

stupid meter died anyway so doesn't matter now, gonna buy a bluelabs combo meter and be done with it.

I just use ec readings i can follow them a bit easier than ppm. As well as being in soil that's really high isn't it

I never weigh wet though it's kinda pointless and can be a bit misleading. I'm always a bit disappointed with any harvest I've had lol it looks like a nice little crop though nice looking buds for sure I'd like to have a smell I reckon it would be killer

hmm thats wiered if found canna terre pro to be pretty light with the n the autos if almost made 2 harvest and the photo i grew humbolyt blue dream i found around when it was starting to flower my plants seemed pretty hard to give then enough n other than that im interested to hear youre thoughts on the soil dude

Now that I've cut it. It smells like pine and fruit. Not so much citrus. And a hint of grass...

Maybe a fortnight. Maybe 3 weeks. Still. If it doesn't mold up. I'll be able to smoke for a while.

Yeah so if it's 70% then I've still estimated about right. I'm looking at a couple Oz at least.

It's a very very rough rule of thumb 70% it's not even close to being a reliable equation
