Though I love auto flower plants I find that the plants are generally a bit smaller and produce a bit of a smaller yield. That being said the plants finish faster than non auto flower so it makes up for it. Auto Flowers rock and you shouldn't be too worried about the yield it will be pretty close to the same.

This all depends on soil or water grown via dwc.
Here is a pic of my plant and I noticed the bigger your grow pot or bucket the bigger the plant.
This is auto pounder, a very easy and quick finisher off 11 weeks total.
I use a standard 2 door wardrobe and this plant exceeded expectations when it come to size which was 54inch tall and produced 4 1/2 oz dried and an oz of small airy buds under 300w led.
If I would have scroged this plant I probably would off got around 6 1/2 or 7.
Its your choose, and like budgrow says quicker turn around.
Good luck.

Look up "think different" auto by dutch passion, 13 ounces dry from one plant. Ive grown a lot of photos but this think different was something else. It grew perfect from seedling to flower...no weak branches it also grew short and round. To top it all off it had the most euphoric high ever tried and the potency was around 7.9 to 8, ten being the best. I couldn't have designed a better plant. However the smell was strong while growing, if my door stayed open too long the whole house would wreak for an hour.

Awesome.
I've heard about them but I need more room b4 considering think different.
I struggle for space with the autos I have grown.
But yes I'm definitely getting soon.

Depends on the strain and the breeder.anything but Dutch passion.they suck.airy buds on a lot of there gear.
Yield is always related to genetics and growing space.autos have there place in the industry but I don't think you get a bigger yield or less yield than photos.typically guys will veg plants for 3 weeks anyway and that's about the time it takes for autos to start flowering.
The important factors are you can't clone autos.so there is no pheno hunting superior moms to hold onto.seeds can be costly if you don't breed your own so you are stuck with what you get from that seed.than you always have to grow from seed.so autos are good for a no nonsense forget em and leave em.no timers etc.
The fact you can give them 18 to 20 hours of light there whole cycle also gives you good growth but it still depends or your grow space and light canopy.
So growing autos for a bigger or smaller yield is really the far end of the scheme when u look at all the bases.
I prefer photos because when I come across a plant I absolutely love I can keep it.you can also find big yielding phenos you can keep and run genetic copies.
You cannot do that with autos.once they are gone there gone.
Autos shine when u want a crop in 70 days flat from sprout but you can also get the same results from photos from clones so it's really a toss up of what u prefer.

Dutch passion has won more awards than any other cannabis breeder. They have also won more photo competitions at autoflower.net than anyone else. In fact the largest harvest "Indoor" on record came from a dutch passion auto ultimate coming in at 2+ pounds dry weight.

for every Dutch passion nut swinger on rollitup I'll find you 2 that hate there gear.im not buying that 3lb plant bs.you wasn't there to watch them open the pack so the only person that knows is the grower.that could be a photo big bud for all you know.i know all the dp shit I ran was shit.and a lot of others say the same.even a blind squirell can find a nut and I'm sure there are good seeds mixed in there packs but from my experiences it has been shit

My auto is huge.ive noticed over the bast 3 grows I have used bigger buckets or res.
1st res-15lt plants average height 90-100cm. Yeild between 40g.
Result was 124cm -- yeild was 84g.
2nd res-20lt plants average height 90-100cm. Yeild between 40-60g.
Result was 140cm -- yeild was 137g.
3rd res-25lt. Plant average height 90- 100cm. Yeild between 40-60g.
Result was 159cm -- yeild was 194g.
These were all the same strain seeds and brought at the same time.
I have now got a fourth on the go and this is massive at 6weeks old,I have chosen a 30lt res but wider than a normal bucket.
The width has shown on the plant.pic below.
It just goes to show the bigger the res with autos the bigger the plant.
What would happen if I used a 50lt res???
Enjoy the pic

How long Can I keep autos in veg?

Autos veg when there ready too.
Mostly around 3-4 week.
But I've noticed that some can take longer but this can be encourage by cleaning your res and changeing your nutes to bloom and no growth nutes.
The plant will carry on growing as they normally stretch anywhere from week 4-7 but if the plant needs these growth nutes then they will be extracted from storage in the leaves.
This is why I only flush at the end of flower as most off the nitrogen to help the plant grow will be used in the stretch stage so no need to flush.
Well its worked for me.

Cant dispute the fact that they have won more competitions than anyone. I have never had a problem with dutch passion seeds. Been growing dutch passion for years. They just won 1st price for their Kush in Amsterdam.

Google image search Dutch passion "Think different" and "auto ultimate". Check out the grows on those two strains then come back and tell me how worthless they are. Smoke is also top notch
