Humidity last day before harvest?

I've read that you want to harvest your plant after a day or two of higher humidity? Humidity increases resin production and this is supposedly really good that last day before harvest? Is this BS?

I've always heard that, if anything, low humidity increases resin production as the plant tries to protect the leaves with additional oil secretions. Ultimately, the most important factor is not humidity (except for what churchhaze mentioned about mold), it's harvesting when the plant is fully mature. Remember, humidity is your enemy right now. We're lucky in NorCal right now, it's dry as a bone outside.

Makes sense. Hey, how do u feel about harvesting the top of the plant first and hen a week later harvest the rest? Is this smart? The top colas trichomes are a perfect proportion of milky and clear but the lower branches are still half milky/half clear so in theory this could be a good idea? It's a very large plant so there's a lot of different life stages within her. Is this something that could be worth it?

I've done that when needed, some plants and growing environments are going to make it harder for the lower branches to get enough light. Usually the whole plant matures at about the same time, in my experience and with the varieties I've grown, with just a few small lower branches with immature buds that I usually trim into the hash making pile.
