Will this light help at all?

So im growing indoor inside a shed, I have a 1000 watt light over my 4 plants and the top of my plants are getting plenty of light. I'm just worried the bottom of my plants are not getting enough light as they should. I have a LED strip light that is 120 volts and wondering if I put this near the bottom of my plants will it actually help the lower buds? The strip of light is 18ft so I could go around each pot like twice for lower light. Any suggestions let me know please.

It wouldn't hurt, as long as it doesn't get to hot. I've tried with floro and i didn't see a huge difference.

I just trim all the lower flower/branches at the time of the flip and again two weeks after the flip these days

Its all about the canopy. 1st foot or so?? something like that.

That's why so many scrog. Good airflow and an even canopy. Artificial light just doesn't penetrate like the sun.

Their like 5 ft and the bottom 2 ft get like no light
I grow taller plants with 1K's. 6 footers + I have no problems with lighting! You don't "have" to light the lower sections. They get their fair share of feeding and energy from the rest of the plant doing it's job. Some lighting is a plus and it should be doing fine from the 1K.

Paint the walls around the area with flat white ceiling paint.

Look at the plant from the side. Now imagine a cone shape pointing up and going 1/3 of the plants height. You should be "lollypopping" that away. The lowest branch's never really work anyway, and the shaded interior produces the weak/draining "sucker" like buds anyway. They detract from the others, even the mains. Trim this stuff away and the remaining "lowers" do just fine!

You should consider a stepped or staggered harvest. You harvest the ripe mains to the point that the buds look like they need some more time (unripe). You let that go for a week to 2 weeks - till they look ripe. Harvest again. BTW, it was found some time ago that those lower buds allowed to ripen. Are more potent then their big sisters from above them...

Understand?

Yes, thank you so much for information! How close do you let you plants get to you're light durring flower/end of flower?

Just as many have already stated.. it likely won't HURT... but it almost certainly won't help.
I wouldn't waste the time, or electricity on something like that.
Hell, even a desk lamp with a nice sized, proper temperature CFL would be a helluva lot more effective then that weird rope light thing....

18 inch's is the closest.
My light is on durring the night so it's abit colder durring that time plus I keep good air flow, I have been looking for light burn but have not seen any signs, I'm not sure if my plant is showing signs of heat stress tho. What are heat stress signs?

If your plants don't look bad, they aren't. That kind of stress would be noticeable. My 400W hps is kept withing 10 inches of the tops and they love it, no ill effects whatsoever.

Curling and canoeing of the leaves.

Light intensity will "burn" them too. Looks bleached..

That works for you! His 1K is 2 and a 1/2 times as intense as your light......10 inch's will fry them with a 1K..

My light Is on durring the night when it's pretty cold, my light has been like 3-4 inches above my plant for like 4 weeks and no signs of burn or stress at all

Oh trust me, it's coming....You bud under that and you'll learn the hard way.

Sounds like you have a very thick canopy if your not getting much light low down with 1000w hps. Open them up, stakes between big branches keeping colas further away from each other. Plants that move slightly with the breeze get better "penetration" too.
My first grows back in the 90s were 6ft trees with 1000w hps, didn't have a problem with buds from top to bottom.
