The vice cop recognized me as well but we were arrested under a local ordinance targeting white outsiders driving in for drugs. White working men with money to pay fines. Specifically that is who was grouped together in court.
We looked like a sales team in our polo shirts we were arrested in.
That was the only point. It was said that they only profile minorities. And argued pretty heavily.
That is not true. My experience shows otherwise.

The cops bosses don't care about the people there just the money.
Camden had more murders per capita back then. The police were responsible for many of them.
They were so currupt they bankrupted the city.
Police are promoted on their arrest record. Not convictions. And police departments are really just enforcing collections.
They don't help with the problems in general in cities like Camden. They have other things to worry about. Like the criminals are more organized and better trained and armed than the predominately rookie cops that were working there.
And their bosses expect them to bring in assets.
