I'm a 1 man operation and I'm way behind on manicuring .I have a nice hanging area with low humidity fans,etc.My question is how long can they hang? It could be a long time till i get to manicure them all.TIA

1st thing is trim all the leaves now, before you hang them.
Much easier.
Probably 2-3 weeks before they are dry in a low humidity climate, and then jar and cure for a month for a premium product

How long they hang depends on how fast they dry. Once you get to about 65% rh, you need to be getting them in sealed curing containers, whether they are trimmed or not. Go too dry before curing and there is no cure.

Pull all the fan leaves. Wait till the branches snap if you bend them. If they're still soft. The bud ain't ready. Good luck!!
I hang dry from essentially a close rack in a tent fitted with a duct fan. Good airflow and the humidity in the room fluctuates between 45-55 with temp at around 65-75. I cut off all the medium fan leaves (not the sugar leaves) before hanging. My buds are crunchy within 5-7 days in these conditions
If we're talking about the actual stalk to which the buds are attached, I do NOT get a *snap* by the time the buds are overdried - the actual bud stem does snap off the main stalk though. Most people don't seem to specify this distinction..

Definitely. I didn't mean like a tree branch snap. Depending on conditions. 5 to 7 is about the norm.. @secks.exe

Pretty much depends like bugeye said.
70f/50rh dry trim, takes me up to 2 weeks (10-14 days) with 5 gallon plants.

It varies depending on size of buds and climate.
Whether you dry or wet trim.
I like dry trim. Product smells and tastes better the longer it takes to dry IMO.

i don't recall who it was, but someone with the same problem as you started storing it in a fridge they got for their garage, said it slowed down the process a lot, giving them time to get to it before it got too dry.

I do a trim out doors prior to indoor hanging, fan leaves, the bigger leaves. Then they are inside in a 50 degree room w/fans, low light,humidity, etc. Some say with that environment they could hang for several months.
