actually, here you go. just yanked one out so you can have a look. lights on in an hour or so but I'm going out tonight so wont be on later.

One thing I definitely wont do next time is use such a tall thin pot. with a bigger diameter the res at the bottom would hold a LOT more and watering wouldnt be such a chore. I'm a bit of a deadshit so I didnt think of this at the time but you live and learn I expect to have a couple issues at the end with the pot size but seeing some of the giant plants people have grown in coke bottles I reckon I should be able to keep it under control - touch wood

fuck me I gotta up my Nitrogen then. otherwise Im close-ish but I never would have thought they'd need that much. That explains why I lose a bit of leaf colour after they start fruiting. Just on chillies, been getting stuck into the limited edition sauce from the Melbourne chilli eating comp. its got reapers, scorpions and habaneros and smoked paprika. It so hot its fucking crazy but its sweet and delicious at the same time. im keen to get saucing again, bring on chilli season

just checked my notes: 3 and a bit weeks but yeah, leaves soil for dead when it comes to growth. The pots are classic - got them from a 2 dollar shop. They had a single little hole in the bottom to run an irrigation line in so once I sealed that up and drilled a hole in the side they were good to go

what temperature do you get down to? In winter (in soil) my plants crawl to start with unless I keep the room really well heated and we only get down to zero about 5 nights a year here. I vegged for around 6 weeks last run and they werent big plants at all due to temps
