Congrats on your new light M'lady and kudos for buying a Canadian product rather than succumbing to the cheap Chinese market. :clap:

I'm still using my 8 tube bank of T-12s and they veg plants just as well as they did 16 years ago when I built it and the bulk of my lighting is all magnetic ballasted HIDs that crank out buds and keep my grow room warm in my chilly basement through our frigid winters way up north here.

LED lights are like computers. You can buy the best of the best today then tomorrow a better one comes out. If what you got does the job(s) you want it to do then you got the right one!

I just bought 3 dozen 9w LED bulbs as there was a promotion here recently so it was $1/bulb and will DIY a nice veg light with some 3 and 4 bulb vanity fixtures I scored cheap at a thrift store a few years ago. I knew they would come in handy someday. ;)

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the light she bought was made in China.

You also mentioned "buying the best of the best today" - she didn't. She bought tech from several years ago.

So I may have dropped the ball on the country of manufacture but a 5 year warranty and 90 day refund if you don't like it is pretty damned good no matter where it's made. They got a lot of decent gear on their website and seem very reputable from my quick searches.

I'm kind of curious why you seem to have to defend your pissing on someone's party?

Do you feel that you got ripped off on a light purchase and could have done better so lashing out at others transfers some of that pain or are you just a jerk?

Being an internet tough guy is easy. Justifying it not so much.

I have the same light, one of my drivers just went after a year of straight use, they've sent me a new one under warranty, very easy to deal with, contact by phone shitty at responding to email,

these don't penetrate far so I'd defiantly lst or Scrog to maximize yield during flower I keep mine 10-12 inches away

Let's go back and review. I asked her if she still had the opportunity to get her money back. If so, I informed her that she could get a much better light for the money she spent. I'm offering advice, but according to you, that equates to "pissing on someone's party". Wow. it looks like a bunch of fucking rocket scientists decided to chime in. And no, you fucking clown, I didn't get ripped off on a light purchase, because I did my research before investing in my lights. That's sorta the point, genius.

And that's the best part - she can get her money back. And she should. She bought old tech. There are far better options for her money that are now available.

it was a decent thread, UNTIL YOU came in and offered UNSOLICITED advise. Just because YOU think her choice was wrong, does not mean it is so.she obviously was happy with her purchase.
