Ok. So started the 2 auto's and 2 x F1's. One auto is mainly indica and short and the other is Sativa dom. No idea on the phenoms of the f1's. So will be lst on the the Sativa auto which I havent done before. Just starting on putting the closet together. Whitewalled and 100w ecterior light led to start. Soil is cooking out the back. Well it would be if the dogs stop playing with it.

Been playing with auto's for a while so I get the first pot is fanal pot thing. Going with reused store bought light soil this time. Have tried the cook your own but its beyond me at the mo.Lights are up and wired. Seeds are in tray and germing. Just need to wipe everthing down with bleach. Here we go...first new grow in a while.

Had biomix light in pots out back for 2 weeks. But when I go to check, find its very dry in patches. Have repotted 4 and sealed with beach sand. Have the 2 pots for the f1's seperate. Rainfall over next 2 days just balance it out.

Power came back last night after 6 days out !
I put the lassies back under the light and I'm gonna veg the fuck out of them.

On a separate note. I'm off to Amsterdam for the 1st time in my life in December.

Has anyone any tips or good locations to visit ?
I'll be with the wife who's interested in art etc. Taking her to a Rupaul drag show so truffles are defo on the menu :bigjoint:

Mate ive reused my soil for jesus 6+ grows ( I do use cannazyme to break down old roots so they convert to food)lol I just fill the Base of the pot with the old soil then top dress it with some canna soil so the beans n seedlings wont burn then when they grow enough to get into the old soil they grow very well but I do try to only foliar feed nutes(veg nutes,seaweed n a few trace elements but this recipe varies depending on what the plants ask for)during veg n just feed em water to rid on any sodium build up in the medium but I do give em the odd bottle feed just prefer to do so towards the end of veg n I use veg nutes up to week 4 of flowering then half n half till nearly week 6 I start just flowering nutes.
Logic behind it is the first 3 weeks or so theyre doing a load of growing so they need the veg nutes more for the N n flowers start forming around week 4-5 so thats when the flowering NPK ratio is best but I still add some mono N when needed n of course I blast em with Calmag a week before flip n slowly lowering it the first 2 weeks of flowering then apply when needed but mostly they only need mag so ive canna mono mag on hand if the cal is grand.
Oh I also recommend silica during veg early flowering to strengthen the plant so less need for support

Is there any place in Amsterdam you can drink a beer and smoke a spliff does anyone know ?

Christ...I love this site.

"I do use cannazyme to break down old roots so they convert to food"--I generally have the soil sit in a heap outdoors or in a large bin meant to grow trees, so basically the roots should break down themselves. Then I repot the soil with free plastic gloves from the local applegreen/topaz station and remove any of the debris like roots or leaves.

"I just fill the Base of the pot with the old soil then top dress it with some canna soil so the beans n seedlings wont burn then when they grow enough to get into the old soil they grow very well but I do try to only foliar feed nutes" I have tried and failed with foliar feeds. Just trying to keep it simple this time round. I too pit the base soil in the base, and put a finer mix on top. I like to leave the soil cook in the pots for a week or two. The beach sand has been sitting in rain for a year. The idea being it rinses out the salt and you have a seal on the soil to stop bugs getting in. Or at least not as many bugs.

Heres me veg nutes the unmarked bottles are cannazyme (for water feeding the medium) and canna vaga
and here are the nutes ill be trying either this run or next since ive only ever used the canna range but ive still a load of canna pk left so I dont need any more for a while
again I do wanna use the last of my canna flowering n veg nutes but id gotten the shogun nutes at a fantastic price so said id get em whilst I can seeing as my canna products have lasted 4 odd yrs (I bought everything in 5ltr as I got a sweet discount buthonestly dunno what I was thinking with 5 ltr of pk haha)

I meant silicon haha
How can u fail at foliar? U dont even need to ph the solution since thats for the rootzone.
I find it best to feed during lights out when the stomatas are open to release oxygen so uptake is better or u can use a wetting agent but its worked for me.if u have to foliar with lights on do it towards the end of the cycle cuz u can burn the plants if the lights are on and lastly the nutrients are taken in alot faster so if u can read the leafs u can sort any issues without a bother

Fail...over enthusiastic plus heat stress pluss also watering soil. All the usual mistakes.

Have only heard good things about Canna. Will be just using the standard biobizz 3 mix. Just want to get a few plants over the line and no drama.

Yeah I cant fault canna, will always have their mono range on hand but bizzle on the uk thread used em(shogun coco)last YR or so n sang their praises so seeing they were new and super cheap amd I wanted to try something different I went for it


I still water the soil as I said before but just with water n foliar when lights are off...simples but each to their own,looking forward to seeing things progress

Got soil chillin out back. Will move to veg closet tomorrow. 2 autos's, 2 F1's. 100w led. Will post pics when they in place. F1's sprout pretty early. Last time with Auto Mazar was 18hrs. Never done the Amesia Haze before. Looking to veg the F1's in same space as auto's for now, Grow room is overrun with crap at the mo so no space for tent.

yeah drugs are expensive over here in oz a point of a gram of coke or speed is 100 bucks the more inland you go the price goes up to insain prices
