Hey guys this is pretty urgent. I am in my 6th week of flower and all was going well until i realized yesterday that i have a pretty bad spider mite problem. It is 100% spider mites i can see the little fuckers. I know neem oil would work but i can seem to find it any where so is there any home remedy that you guys know works? I need to sort it out soon as it is a pretty bad infestation.

Thanks guys

How bad is "pretty bad?"

Don't spray neem oil on your plants it's too late for that.

Honestly if it's a bad infestation you're better off cutting your losses and disinfecting your room and starting over. Start using pest prevention methods for future grows.

I only have one plant (its a micro grow) so i really dont want to scrap it. I am going to spray with a mixture of tea tree oil, citronella oil, liquid soap and water. Hopefully it will work. got a friend who said it worked for them. I know that it isnt ideal to spray especially when you have buds but if the option is spray or have no weed ill give spraying a go.

I recently had some luck with a strong chili soup, strained. I wonder if my buds will smoke hotttt though.
I used a ULV fogger for really good coverage.
I've heard you can spray Green Cleaner, and Flying Skull's Nuke Em in flower. Expensive though

Yeah ill stick to trying the mixture i have now. The whole point of this grow was to try and grow the best weed possible with the least amount of money. so I did expect one or two problems to arise.

Shop vac.....let them finish.....smoke a few bugs.

Spraying anything now is just gonna wreck shit worse than it already is.

Snap..pop....poppop......this is what you're going to hear while smokin.
If you go that route make oil or hash. Don't smoke that shit, gross man.

Never spray plants with neem or neem based products once you've started seeing pistols in flowering. You can use Dr Zymes late into flowering but it's spendy.

spinosad has a very short half life, you can spray it up to a week before harvest, and i can't taste any residue from it.
neem oil tastes like rotten sesame seed oil, never spray it on a plant thats started to bud, that taste lasts forever

A bottle is about $65 and you wont have to spray your crops with no sprays.

Swirakiis go for spider mites especially.

How much is your end crop worth.

This was something I had for prevention of broadmites and russet mites and other things that might come in the soil (coco/ soil / peat / ect).
The only problem with using predatory mites is that they'll also end up stuck to your buds and getting smoked. They will prevent the damage though. Another option is spider mite destroyers. They're essentially tiny black lady bugs. They are very expansive though, so if you're trying to keep your budget down they're probably a nonstarter.

This type of mite leaves the plant when their is no more.food too feed on and goes for the soil. Swirskii and cucumeries. I have been using them for a little while now. HOWever I have not had a mite problem into flower.

Spidermites are easier to spot because of the webbing they leave. Broadmites and russet mites are harder to dertermine because of at times, the plant looks like it is going through a nute deficiency.

Drop the light hours down to 10/14, drop temps a bit if possible and vacuum what you can gently.

Depending on location/season they may or may not go heavily dormant, but it will visually slow them down for sure.
