Is this enough light for my final pot size?

Hi guys, I'm doing a cfl grow and I wanted your opinions on whether my lighting will be sufficient for my desired final pot. My final pot is approximately 7 gallons and i have about 340 watts or 18000 lumens worth of cfl light, spread between 4 45watt and 8 20watt bulbs. I am also topping and LSTing my plant to get maximum efficiency out of the cfls. So do you think this will be sufficient lighting or is 7 gallons a bit ambitious for a cfl grow? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

50 actual (not equivalent) watts sq.ft would be around the minimum with cfls, more would be better if you could keep it cool.

7 gallon pot is a bit big, but not if you got enough light/veg time. Fwiw, i use 7's under 1000w hid.

50w sq.ft examples

2x2 - 200w
2x3 - 300w
3x3 - 450w
4x4 - 800w

Cool thanks man, by the way I'm doing a closet grow and my space is only about 2x3ft do you think a 7 gal pot is too big for that sort of area?

cool, i was gonna say right now i'm doing a test on pot sizes in closets, i got the same pot size you were thinking of working with, and a heavy sativa strain in flower now, its about to run me out of the closet that i'm in. The other is in a smaller pot and it looks like it gonna work for the space i'm woking with. That's why i asked....

Oh damn, yeah that's the biggest concern I had with using that kind of size pot for a closet, which I why I decided to go with the 3 gal, also cuz I'm growing in coco, so plants can grow big in small pots,, how tall is your space?

mines about 7ft total, but with the shelf and the rod it take out about 1ft 1/2 so a little over 5ft....the plant right now is just under the light about 8" bellow + or -, haven't measured it in a while, but its in flower don't expect for it to go past, but its close.......

The thing with cfl is the problem with lightspread, if youre going vertical with several lamps youre gonna do just fine.
