The ground is even better than a huge pot.
For some reason last yr i found ground vs big pots the ones in the ground never got aphids like the ones in pots do
It's been like that for 4 yrs for me now so much so that I only have em in the ground this yr no pots

looking good. Hardened off nicely by the look so they'll grow quite a bit now. I'd consider topping that naga pretty soon so it can bush out a bit. I know the scorpions get surprisingly tall so dont let them get too leggy before youre tipping for fruit sites. never used neem on them but its probably as good an option as any.

I caved and got a scorpion and a reaper in a pot since my last dump of seeds didnt take - I have a feeling they got overdried by the silica pouch in storage and I need to get them growing. they take fuckin ages from seed anyway. The scorpion is going to displace some purple carrots that have been growing on top the crushed up crayfish carcasses I dumped in months ago. not sure whether to put the reaper in the ground or a big pot

Ground ! I grew a reaper in a 15 gallon fabric pot last yr and it was still pretty leggy
Ur right bout starting from seed I only start seeds ehen I have them down for a 2 yr harvest cos the first one gives fuck all

Ground it is then. might need to dig a hole roughly the size of a fully grown midget so it has a bit of room as the garden is pretty chokkas

Haha I think it worked our best in his favour because I have alot of strains from america now so he should end up with some very top notch strains to play with. Good news for all other outdoor growers most of my small plants have started to reveg so it looks like the perfect time to plant outdoors. That creek soil I found I havnt watered my plants in 7 weeks and they look great. Seems to hole a lot of water in that soil.

Might need to move a couple things around - vege patch would be best as I've improved the soil a shit load in the last couple years. it was pretty much sand when I started but its getting a decent colour about it now. i get as much out enjoyment out of growing chillies as I do with weed. who wouldve thunk it

after practically zero rain for ages we've had a really wet week. that explains old mate down the road packing up his 4wD and heading to the hills with his 3 dogs a bit more lately. i wouldnt want to stumble on his patch - hes a fuckin scary unit
